Hey over there…..bsnl has gone crazy!!!!!!…..
They give the advertisement for 2mbps bt never do they go above 120 kbps…..First let them reach the speed of 256 kbps then tell them to give their lectures…

bsnl broadband promise a speed of 256kbps but I receive the data in a speed of 24kbps.I complained several times then they told me if the neighbors switch off their net connection then I will receive the data in high speed.

  3. adw says:

pplwhen bsnl says they are giving speed at 256kbps that means 266 kilo bits(not bytes)per second so 8bit = 1 byte so the speed what u are getting that is around 32kbps for dwnloading is correct

  4. rahul says:

They should first launch in Mumbai and Delhi and then anywhere else.

  5. acc says:

bsnl can give that speed but user will loose all his/her property……… BSNL IS A BIG DUCCAIT….

  6. parth says:

bsnl promises 2mbps(mega bits per second) = 256KBPS(kilo bytes per second). And thats what i get most of the time…

BSNL is not a problem, you guys are who dont even know what exactly 2mbps means..

  7. sindhiaraj says:

Parth should not think that he alone is the wisecrack and everybody else is dumb. We all know that 2 mbps is 2 mega bits per second and that comes to 2048/8=256 Kilo Bytes Per Second, that is 256 KBPS. But BSNL 2 mbps never gives a download speed of 256 KBPS; it gives a maxm download speed of 100 KBPS, ie 800 kbps, that also very very rarely. Most of the times the speed remains at 25-40 KBPS range. Most contemptible, BSNL never provides a support phone number to contact in case of EVDO broadband problems. To Hell with these guys who enjoy a monopoly and take people for a ride.
