BSNL Kerala Mobile services announces launch of customized Special Pre-paid package
“STUDENT SUVIDHA” for students during the Onam season. The Student Suvidha scheme offers the low cost tariff for local calls and 2000 free SMS without any extra payment. This is the first time in Kerala
BSNL offers local calls at flat rate, irrespective of network throughout the day coupled with free messaging.
The salient points of the scheme
1. Local calls within Kerala to any network (including fixed phones) at a flat rate of 49 paisa / minute.
2. 2000 free SMS/ month to any network within Kerala and only 10 paisa / SMS beyond the free limit.
3. Lower call charges for STD calls.
Call BSNL phones any where in India for just Re. 1/min and other network phones in India for Rs. 1.20/min.
4. Talk to any five Local BSNL Mobile numbers at 0.30 P/ min, without any mandatory Monthly
fixed charges.
To register for this facility
Send SMS FFE space < 1st Mobile No>space <2nd Mobile No> space <3rd Mobile No> space <4th Mobile No> space <5th Mobile No> to 53733.
5. Initial talk value of Rs. 30/- and initial validity of 30 days with the new connection.
6. Initial cost for SIM pack Rs. 112/- only (including all taxes).
7. All recharge and top-up coupons are applicable for the scheme.
8. This scheme can not be bundled with any other offer.

Bsnl have good plasn bt it nvr strike the mobile market due to the poor services,somewhere when a new tower comes thn bsnl have no range,And also some even there is full signal we cant make calls or send msg ,this things have to be …………..
am a customer of BSNL student suvidha. My sim validity was ending on 2-12-09 so i want to extend that one.For this purpose i went to customer care and ask the details..so for 1 year validity Rs/-276 are ensured and i paid that…After 5 days each sms charges 10 paisa..Before i have 2000 free sms due to this scheme..But my sms do not exceed upto 2000..balance sms are also available till now..but each sms left 10 paisa.What is the reason behind that? any problem in extension? I contact many times with appropriate officers in customer care..But there behaviour was not satisfactory & they behaved impolitely towards me..pls give me a solution…

If you want to receive the delivery report then they would deduct 10 pisa for each sms.Just turn the “delivery reports” to OFF in your message settings in the phone….

It would be more appreciated for students suvidha call charge to be Rs.0.25 during 6.00 PM to 10.00 PM night instead of present Rs.0.49 per call – resembling to Women Power Prepaid of BSNL during night hours of 10.00 PM to 7.00 AM.
I have bsnl students suvidha plan and till now i enjoyed free sms but now i am charged for message 10 paisa each per sms from 30-12-2009 night onwards

I have charged my student suvidha old scheme No 9496848899 and the validity ends on 10/10/2010. The offer of 2000 sms /month free could not be enjoyed. I am charged 0.10 paise for the sms. So please take necessary steps. Also I have an appeal that the rate may be reduced per pulse
because many other companies offer much reduced rates.Anyhow I thank BSNL for extending the recharge for 1 year with a reduced rate.

It will be interesting if the local BSNL calls are just 20paise/min between 9pm to 6am. Also inform the blackout days well in advance…..

Just recharge with RS 280, it is giving you 1 yr validity and 250 rs talk time (it is a promotional offer, valid till 12/Feb/2011 )…
