tumne jo no. bataya hai woh tumhare cell no. ke shuru ke 5 no.s hain, sim no. sim ke upar likha hota hai.
tumhe achchhi speed chahiye hai to 3g network select karna hoga, jo ki tumhare mobile set nokia 5130 se possible nahi hai, kyuki woh nokia 5130 ek 2g set hai, aur 2g network se zyada achchhi speed nahi mil sakti.

maine jab apna data card liya tha to main bhi shuru mein kaafi pareshaan hua tha, kyuki maine apne friend ke data card ki speed dekhi thi jo ki 150-200 KBps tak milti thi, aur mujhe sirf 30-32 KBps tak hi mil rahi thi…

You guys are doing something terribly wrong.I own a Micromax 372g modem and I am getting ~350 KB/S (which is equal to ~ 2800 kbps) i.e. 2.8 Mbps.
I will suggest you to go and learn how to configure hardware,learn things yourself others,including Bsnl Customer Care,wont bother helping you.
hahhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa …………………… sab mare ja rahe hai …………. ek baat ko dus baar puchte hai mai final baat batata hu aap sabhi ko bsnl ka unlimited internet downloading nd surfing 274 ka ho gaya hai ab only for 30 days means 1 month . maine huawei ka 3g modem mai bsnl ki 2g sim mai 274 ka recharge karwaya or net surf kiya isme normal speed 25 se 35 countinuous aa rahi hai …….. aur downloading karne par maximum 100 kbps tak pahuch jati hai … baise ye sab aapke area aur network means signals par depeand karta hai agar ache network aa rahe hai to 100 kbps se upar bhi aa sakti hai downloading par kabhi kabhi ……magar minimum 25 to 35 kbps to aani hi hai … it is true ……. micromex ki 3g modem par bhi yahi speed aaygi …. bsnl se achi speed koi bhi nahi de sakta … bsnl aur airtel ka 450 unlimited in uttar pradesh ,,, aur kuch puchna chate ho to personal male kare mujhe …. mai reply karunga ,,,, yaha par kam hi aata hu

I hear people talking in the background of the agent and also the typing sound and I was saying hello for atleast 5minutes but the agent never said a word. Meanwhile I got an sms from BSNL asking me to answer a survey about the customer service that I received on that particualr call that too even before I disconnected it! WHAT SHOULD I DO.IT HAPPENS ONLY IN INDIA. AND IAM ALSO GETTING CHARGED FOR GPRS NOW FOR A PLAN THAT HAS NO CHARGES FOR BROWSING!

i want to suggest you some thing if you are using micromax mmx 372g then you have to confirm that you are getting 3g network or 3.5g network becouse if you are getting 3g network then then max download/upload speed will be 384kbps so if you are getting 30KBPS down speed them it is true that you will get about 256kbps speed but if the network changed to hsdpa or hspa (depended upon your network) then the max speed will be 3.6 mbps on full network coverage you will get that speed.

i have found a trick to use 3g speed in 2g sim just get a bsnl excel cellone sim not bsnl mobile and migrate it to 3g by 1 re recharge carefully you havenot to be recharged with 274/- plan another the plan will not work the sim will be than capable to use 3g speed if the cellone sign will be removed by by bsnl mobile than your sim will be converted to 3g and the speed will be at the front of you

Yesterday i tried the trick as said by play4u.
Me n my frnd both having bsnl 2g sim with cellone displaying logo.
His sim is 8 months old n mine is 3 years.
When i tried my frnds sim and opened Youtube, it was giving
an unbelievable speed of 150-200 KBps on 2g sim with UMTS network
selected. As tested On NOKIA 5800.
After it when i tried mine sim it was same as before with the speed
of 20-25 KBps.
Why is this happens???????????
His no. is 9471****** and mine is 9470******, is this the factor or

jaisa ki maine kaha tha, maine micromax ka mmx 300G modem kharida aur usme bsnl ka 2G sim dala, aur durgapur me, jahan 3G 1 saal pahele launch huwa tha , waha use kia . par mujhe 42KBps tak hi download speed mila, fir is problem ka cause kya hai us liye mai BSNL telephone exchange me gaya aur uha unhone mujhe bataya ke, Durgapur me 3G hai par wo abhi 3G ke tarah speed nahi de sakte , kiu ki un logo ke paas utna speed dene ke liye jo spectrum lagta hai usko chalane ke liye sab equipment nehi hai, so aap ko 30-45 KBps tak hi speed mil paye ga, joh ki EDGE se thora better hai
toh, jinlogo ko 3G me speed kam milraha hai yani ki 30-40 KBps woh logo ko batana chahunga ki woh bhi local exchange me jaye aur problem ka karan pata kare.

How can we find that the a sim shows the Cellone logo or Bsnl Mobile. The retailer will not allowed us to check every sim and purchase the sim which shows cellone logo. How would you recognise that the which you are purchasing will show cellone logo or u purchased the old sim.

if u will buy sim today u will not get cellone logo sim…because the cellone sim is very old concept..and i think in the market its impossible…so thier is no need to waste the time…
just checkout your’s friends..relation…or any trumps..but dont’t waste the time in market….

i want to say you something.My friend having nokia n79 hsdpa handset.Firstly he is not going to have a speed of 3g.Firstly we have downloaded a 30 mb video in 28 minutes.means approx. 18 kbps on 3g network.I said on 3g network not hsdpa network,Because it was just introduced 3g in the city so hsdpa network not available at that time.We Reduced to download from that mobile because he is not recharged his mobile with gprs plan after 3 month his sim started giving speed of 3g hsdpa network while he is also capable of making vidoe calls.So i want to say you that if your sim is capable of making video calls and not providing high speed than you haveto purchase a new sim and enter it in a hspa(hsdpa+hsupa) device.You cant make video call at that time and speed is also not good but when you able to make video calls than your speed will be higher as 3g.It takes time of approx. 3 month to active on 3g network.make it to umts/hspa network.If you have good strength of 3g network then set it to duel mode so because when your sim goes 2g network to 3g it allows operator to provide 3g services to the sim.So using this trick u can make your sim capable of 3g.I recommand you to take a sim having 90 paise call rate.Because the rate scheme is like 3g scheme without any addons so it also make you available of using 3g network.Listen it carefully to use a hspa device not hsdpa.You dont need any other information for this trick.
Dont waste your time in checking serial just find a sim with 90 paisa call rate sim.Hope it will work for you have to take patience and if you want to check just make video call on cdma(tata,reliance,mts),Because there is always available network around there if you are able to make video calls then you will be able to surf also on pc.So make it quick to find a sim with 90 paisa call rate

KBPS kbps

B->bytes b->bits
P->per p->per
S->second s->second
Most browsers and a lot of FTP programs show transfer rates in KBps (kilobytes per second). So in order to get the approximate number of Kbps (kilobits per second) you need to know that there are 8 Kb (kilobits) in every KB (kilobyte). Thus if your browser is showing that you are downloading a file at 176 KBps you would then multiply 176 times 8 which would translate to 1,408 Kbps. The reverse can be used if your transfer rate is in Kbps then you divide that number by 8 to get your rate in KBps. Example:1400 Kbps divided by 8 equals 176 KBps transfer rate.

hi kusum , i will take some time to provide u the unlock code, i you are in hurry, then go to bsnl exchange and they will unlock it free of cost.
and i would like to give you a suggestion that dont go with idea, better to go with airtel or aircel, because the idea nternet service is very poor, i have used it and the google page to 1 min 20 sec. to open, so imagine how will it be with other sites..
