Reliance to Reliance unlimited free calls now possible

Reliance Mobile India Limited announced Unlimited Free Std plan for both it’s prepaid and postpaid mobile subscribers. All calls in this plan would be free to any Reliance number (Mobile + Fixed line) anywhere in India. Prepaid customers can recharge with Rs496(inc tax) to avail this offer while postpaid users need to opt Rs440(exc tax) Rental pan to enjoy the free calling. This service is also available for Hello(Fixed Wireless) subscribers by paying rental of Rs525(inc free calls also).

Airtel slashes std roaming call rates

Bharti Airtel the leading mobile operator of India with over 60 million or 6 crore gsm subscribers has announced a drop of long distance (std) and roaming charges upto 42%. Others operators may follow soon. In meantime Reliance announced plans with unlimited std calls within own network on it’s mobile and fixed wireless service. It looks like Virgin Mobile India has changed the free incoming calls terms on there website. From now on if the other person is using free Tata to Tata calling then you won’t get 10paise/min for incoming . Make me wonder whether free Tata to Tata calls include Virgin mobile also? Hmmmnnnnnnn!
