AIRTEL IS THE MOST BAD MOBILE PROVIDER HERE IN MAHARASHTRA GOA CIRCLE. IT ACTIVATES SERVICES WITHOUT TELLING EVEN WHEN I HAD INFORMED THEM ABOUT THIS THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO CORRECT IT. THEIR NET SPEED IS ALSO VERY SLOW.. I GET LOWER THAN 1-2KBPS EVEN ON EDGE. ON TOP OF IT, THEY CLOSE NET EVERY WEEK FOR 4 HOURS.

In kerala,Idea flexi 97 reacherg is good.U can use 2Gb per month.maximum limit per day is 69Mb. 5 rupees per 1Mb for extra usage will be charged.for normal internet users this option is Good.Idea is also having good speed.have a nice day

basically speed of idea GPRS varies in different areas,means where r u using matters??
i hv 2GB plan. in chandigarh nd sirsa its speed is as,max-37kbps,avg. during night and early morning-(20-22)kbps.
bt when we use in village areas its speed is limited upto 8kbps.
reason is that,in cities mobile tower directely access data via satellite,nd in rural area mobole tower access data 4m towers located in towns,means nt directly 4m satellite.
i think u got it nw…??

Idea provides best gprs in madhya pradesh.
In idea Signal quality is awesom always full.
Idea provides 70mb/day in recharge of rs.98 for 30 days.
And for unlimited gprs go for rs.25/day gprs pack.
In other words idea is best. Long live idea.

Uninor gives 3GB internet for 90Rs for 30 days.
Downloading speed 1am – 6am 25Kbps.
Other time its below 5Kbps.
Guys buy Uninor and enjoy internet.

hi, idea gprs is best, no doubt, but the coverage is poor specially in noida and gurgaon. also their customer care service is worst, their representatives don’t understand what is the caller’s requirement. I ended up calling them more then 15 times just to get the right info about the recharge.

If you activate GPRS today evening, Idea will let you use it from tomorrow morning only. But they will start counting the day from today itself. And the first day will be over, even before the service is activated from their side.
I charged 13 rupees for 3 days on July 26th evening around 8.30 PM. They activated the service after 4 hours, on the next morning, at 12.30 AM. And the service was stopped at 12 o clock midnight of 28th.
So, better to activate their service after midnight so that you won’t lose a day!

Hi All,
I was using BSNL, Airtel and idea GPRS services with 3G modem.
I found idea as the fastest among the above (KErala)
But I heard that Aircel is more faster than idea.
I got idea speed up to 259 kbps while for airtel it was 40 to 50 and for BSNL also 0 to 30

I am presently using idea GPRS (Kerala) through HSPA Modem.
I opt for 97 Recharge for 2GB/One month GPRS
The problem with them is that, why there is daily download limit? As for me, yesterday night I uploaded/downloaded some more files and it was ok. I think some of the files were uploaded after 12 mid night. So what happened to me was I could not do browsing the other day, as the 66 MB per day limit exceeded.
ANYBODY HAVE IDEA, WHATS THE TRICKY BENEFIT IDEA FOUND BY LIMITING DAILY USAGE LIMIT IN A 30 DAY GPRS PACK!!
