Aircel Postpaid Complaints
Being a prompt customer for the past 7 years, I had changed my mind to go for Post Paid, Now I am terribly been let down by this service, Credit limit is unchanged and the billing cycle which was offered to me falls on 19th of every month and before the end of the month, my service would go disconnected. Often find problems in signal while travelling in and around Tamil Nadu. Monthly bills are received only around 29th or 30th at my residence. Seeing all this, I would like to go back to Pre Paid service itself. That’s the safest thing what I would prefer.

AIRCEL COMPANY HAS CHARGED ME WITHOUT MY APPROVAL
FOR – LOVE TIPS AND MISSED CALL REMINDERS.
WHICH I HAVE NOT REQUESTED FOR. I HAVE RAISED COMPLAINTS ABOUT THAT, THEIR RESPONSE IS SO STUPID, THEY ARE SAYING I MUST PRESSED WRONG BUTTON DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER 2008 SO THE CHARGES WE ARE ON.
FOR THEIR KIND INFORMATION I WAS NOT IN INDIA I WAS IN ABROAD WITH THE AIRCEL CHIP.
THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. THEY SHOULD BE FINED HEAVILY FOR THIS TYPE OF ACTIVITY. THEY ARE REALING STEALING CUSTOMERS MONEY. FOR EACH PEOPLE THEY ARE CHARING 60RS. IMAGINE…..
Hi i take Kerala Aircel prepaid connection.the offers were good but few days back while i called to an airtel number caller tune has copied and activated and 45rs has been deducted from my account and i called aircel customer care with in 10minutes and deactivated the service and they are not willing to refund the balance, also i emailed my complaint to nodal officer and customercare till now no follow up had made and balance not deducted. My advice for aircel planning customers aircel provides good outdoor network but the indoor network was very poor SMS cannot be send and recive not able to speak proper in indoor if the network shows full or 3/4 signals…
Am now only send aircel network…….
signal and other are good….
but customer care officer and ajencise staffs
notresponses…….

i have purchased postpaid connection from aircel in month of april 2009 in mumbai , as there was verification done for my residence the guy who comes for verification said tht there is no such address and he has not found any address given by me , i didnt knew abt tht after tht my outgoing call was barred so i went to the gallaery on the same day and i was told tht it would be doe agein they are putting request from last three days i am waiting for my verification to be done but as i call to customer care they every time give me the assurance for the verification but till date they have not given me any feedback nor the verification has be done so wht shld i do?
dialer tune is not coming. Only ringing is there. No song was there in my num. My num 9841249007
aircel prepaid is just a worst connection i took a new connection few days back i activated a plan for unlimited internet access on aircel mobile but they did not send any setting on my mobile i called the customer care for support but they said that they will arrange a call back for me. when i got the callback the person started telling about the manual configuration for aircel prepaid. when i completed the imformation provided by the person i got my net service activated but the speed was very less and to load a page it took hours.so i am now changing from aircel to vodafone postpaid as they have better service than aircel and they also provide unlimited browsing at a reasonable rate

i am using the aircel postpaid connection past one year at present withdrew the postpaid connection. already told the aircel office the people said not possiple.in the year of 2001 to 2008 already using the prepaid. so pls change the postpaid connection.
since i set my dailertune two month before my number is 9941987841postpaid. no one response to my call and no customer care what can i do i will complaint so many times please request me

I am trying to convert my postpaid connection to prepaid connection. It seems the process involves disconnecting the connection for 3 to 4 days ( again not guaranteed). Could you please let me know how am I supposed to make my calls and receive incoming calls for the mentioned number of days.
I have not faced this kind of a process with my previous connection vodaphone where the transition was smooth and took hardly one day.
Is this some kind of cheap trick to ensure that people dont change from postpaid so that you get your monthly rent which you wouldnt from the prepaid connection?
It would be inconvenient to change to a new connection but please note its not impossible. If this is the kind of treatment you give to your customers, nobody would be interested in your connection. I personally would not take and would advice others also about the same.
Please kindly respond to the above issue at the latest.
Aircell has been in cheating business for all these years and many of may friends have changed over to other services.
I wonder why they shouuld stoop so low to make a fortune, may be thay advertise distress notices and beg for alms.

I have been using aircel prepaid service for past 2 years (9788646294). And yesterday (27.11.09) i, to my anguish found that my sim was invalid. The display in my handset showed that sim is invalid.
I tried the sim with another handset and it popped up ‘sim registration failed’. I personally made a compalint at the aircel prepaid dealer in Komarapalayam ( Near Erode,Namakkal District, Tamilnadu) and to my surprise I was told that I would have middled with the settings of my handset and i had fire at them that no one else would do anything in my handset and being a doctorate i know how to handle a mobile set. Later I was told to get a new sim for Rs.150, and insisted that i want to know the reason, and called consumer complaints on 9842012345 and they told me to go to erode and make a personal complaint.
I wondered why on hell shoud i go in person to a dealer to get it done. Am I applying for rationcard, driving licende hence i had to present my self before the corrupt government officilans in a Thasildar office or collectorate.
It is obsurd that they could do nothing.

This is the most horrible connection I have taken. I had no such problems with the other connections namely Airtel, Hutch, Vodaphone in terms of connections and customer service.
My billing amount for the past 3 years has been a mere 500Rs. Either they think I will run away without paying them if the bill crosses 500 Rs or else they are so concerned about me not spending too much money talking that they are keeping a tab on me.
The bill reaches me only on the 5th or 6th of a month but the connection gets promptly disconnected by the 30th without any prior warnings. They take a second to barr the lines but an hour to reactivate the same!
Even after the payment has been made they still keep disconnecting the line as they it take 24 hours for them to realise that the payment has been made.
Can someone tell me where else can you find such disgusting customer service?
I think in that terms Aircel has no competition.

I’ve been used Aircel connection more than seven years and recently i got one more additional connections. I have chosen the Number and completed the documentation. Till date ( after 15 days ) also i haven’t received the SIMCARD but for beauty i lodged a complaint and came to know that my SIM hasbeen already activated and bill also sent by Aircel. From that, i believe thateverybody doing their job and nobody verify the important factor/system also check whether the Simcard reached to customer or not. Now a days lot of misuse and mishandling happen ( Terrorist ).No one take responsibility and two times i have booked a complaint. I request you to all Please be very careful whenever you will get a new connection or changeover .

I have an aicel prepaid connection, they have started a service ‘Friends zone’without my APPROVAL. WHICH I HAVE NOT REQUESTED FOR. I HAVE RAISED COMPLAINTS ABOUT THAT, THEIR RESPONSE IS SO STUPID,THEY ARE SAYING, THOUGH IT IS THE MISTAKE OF COMPANY SIDE, WE CAN NOT REFUND THE MONEY DEDUCTED.

I have taken aircel connection on DEC-09. when i got this connection from that day to till today i am receiving lots of unwanted call from unknown people because i thin before taken this no by me this is already registrated with with some one els name & his friend’s are calling me whole day & also aircel recovery department exicutive also calling regarding his old outstanding the using GALI in conversation they said you are laying so i visited 10 time aircel galary but they not give me any solution.
today when i request them to change my no they said we don’t have such facility to Change or migrate the NO we cant help you they give me two solution
1) pay your outstanding & close the connection
2) go to poalise station & do FIR
we cant help you

I have taken a new Aircel postpaid connection few weeks back with 500 rupees deposit money. Verifier has came and verified everything (Voter ID, PAN Card,Bank Address, Residential Status) after a day Aircel has through my connection.
After three days I have received an SMS saying that ” Address verification failed, contact any Aircel store or Customer Care within 48 hrs. to continue enjoying the service”. Immediately I called up one of their CCE ( Mr. Raju Ray 9804199245)( He told me that”Prior to give me the number they allotted the same against somebody else, his address verification has failed and I recvd. That *WHAT A JOKE!!!!!! ) and he worked so fast and that time it was fine. Yesterday again I received same SMS and this time without any prior intimation they barred my INCOMING and OUTGOING while I was traveling.( Again after 1hr. Mr. Ray helped me, Thanks a Lot) The time I faced was horrible. no communication,no phone booth nothing. I couldn’t contact my doctor as I supposed to visit him for my wife. Who is gonna pay me for this…….AIRCEL???? or I am the only person who believed the SERVICE PROVIDER!!!!!!.

I have changed my postpaid no(8803055716) into prepaid.I was told by customer care that my connection will changed during 48 hours. I was waiting for 96 hours but no response from customer care & they are not recieving my call. my incoming has been stopped by last 4 days. i am not totally satisfied by aircel service

Poor/Humilating/Good4Nothing Service
I wanted to get a new aircel connection. After all the awesome ads and all that. But when i went to their centre in Borivali, I was given the most screwd up service. After I paid them the money, they just didnt care about my problem.
There is one person named DEEPA in the Borivali centre who pissed me off.
I had problems with my network and I had to be behind them 24/7 to solve.
Whenever I used to call, they have never picked up my calls.
If I go to their centre, they will be like “We will look into your problem and we will let u know” but
they never called me or got back to me.
I had to be behind them for the whole time and
Its been more than 2 months and still my problem is not solved.
In short, AIRCEL SUCKSSSSSS….
NEVER GO FOR AIRCEL CONNECTION AND
NEVER EVER GO TO AIRCEL – BORIVALI

Proof only myself, but connection is my friends because your sales executive ARUN told me this is not a problem you give your proof only they give payment monthly. At that time I’m in INDIA INFOLINE please deactivate my two accounts. Sorry for my inconvenience
My Aircel Mobile No.is 9762039186 and the said Phone Deactivate on 14/04/2010 by giving a letter of executive Ramesh Mohite and making the payment of Rs.350/- by cheque and the said cheque has been passed from my axis bank account. After the payment of the said mobile lots of time i have receive the calls from company for payment and also after the disconnect the number i have received the monthly rent bill, which the number is not in service. So request u kindly give me the credit of the said payment and stop the sending the bills.

Before 10 days on 14/07/2010, your agent came to my office to give me a connection.
and they told me that it will activate till tomm. {15/07/2010}, they collected all my documents, and i got a confimation call from your side on 16/07/2010
but till today {23/07/2010} it is not active.

I have unfortunately got an Aircel postpaid connection. Whenever there is a payment to be made your customer service people start calling from morning to evening. But after the bill is paid you people vanish!!! Every month this is happening! Now also I paid the bill this friday 10/09/2010 through your executive and today is 13/09/2010. The phone connection is not activated. It got activated yesterday and now again it is out of service !!!! And I called your customer service line- 9841012345 someone picks up the call and puts on hold and never returns back the call till I disconnect the call myself. It is really shamefull !!!
am using aircel postpaid cug connection for the past 10 yrs, am very unhappy with this network, ri8 nw am in bangalore for my vaccation , my current probs is last 3 days i didnt found the tower till it was nill, even though am staying in main area the tower problem is great headache for me, but in chennai no probs, pls do something dnt pull down your brand name ,,,,,
