Apple Iphones in India From Both Airtel and Vodafone

For the first time Apple has launched non-exclusive agreement for distribution of Iphone. In India both Vodafone and Airtel will launch the new version iphone around year end. While Vodafone signed an agreement with Apple for ten countries including India last week yesterday Singtel the Singapore based partner of Bharti Airtel signed an agreement with Vodafone for Singapore, India, Australia and Philippines.

Apple is said to be moving away from signing exclusive agreement this time. For countries including India, Australia and Italy it has already signed more than two operators.  It is expected that in coming days many other Indian operators will sign similar agreements.
