Continuing the tariff war Tata Indicom today introduced three new tariff plans with free onnet calling and ofnet calling as low as 50paise per minute. Plans introduced are

1. Plan 450 with free calls to any tata Indicom mobile or landline all over India rest of the calls Re1 per minute any where in country. Best plan for high onnet usage.
2. Plan 275 with both Local and Std at 50paise per minute to any phone all over country. Best plan for bulk std users.
3. Plan 150 with 90paise call rate to anywhere in country. Best plan for medium std users.

BSNL- Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited will reduce Std rates to further low of Rs1.20 for it’s postpaid (Cellone) and normal prepaid(Excel) subscribers. For it’s prepaid lifetime(Excel Anant) customers new rate of Rs1.50/minute for std calls woulld be effective from 1st of June. Along the line with Mtnl, Bsnl also has increased pulse rate duration of std calls for it’s landline subscribers to 60 secs for all range of tariff plans. Thereby reducing std rates to as low as 80paise for it’s high end landline plans.

Vodafone surprised everyone with it’s reduced std tariff of 1.30Rs which is even below Airtel std rates of Rs 1.50 however rest of the charges are similar to Airtel tariff only. All incoming while roaming is now Re1 instead of earlier Rs1.75 while outgoing while roaming local and std calls have been reduced to Re1 and Rs1.50 respectively. Company hopes to see increased volume of std calls to offset the tariff rate cuts. These tariff can be availed from 06th may on all prepaid and postpaid customers however
customer need to send a sms(free) to get these benefits.

Mtnl Delhi announces reduction in one time plan charges of jeevan sathi lifetime plan for both Dolphin postpaid and trump prepaid Gsm connections.For prepaid trump cost of new lifetime jeevansathi connection has been reduced from existing 475Rs to just Rs150 while for postpaid Dolphin connection it has been slashed from 450Rs to just 150Rs. Also the activation charges of 500Rs on postpaid connection has also been completely waived off.
