For the first time Apple has launched non-exclusive agreement for distribution of Iphone. In India both Vodafone and Airtel will launch the new version iphone around year end. While Vodafone signed an agreement with Apple for ten countries including India last week yesterday Singtel the Singapore based partner of Bharti Airtel signed an agreement with Vodafone for Singapore, India, Australia and Philippines.

Vodafone surprised everyone with it’s reduced std tariff of 1.30Rs which is even below Airtel std rates of Rs 1.50 however rest of the charges are similar to Airtel tariff only. All incoming while roaming is now Re1 instead of earlier Rs1.75 while outgoing while roaming local and std calls have been reduced to Re1 and Rs1.50 respectively. Company hopes to see increased volume of std calls to offset the tariff rate cuts. These tariff can be availed from 06th may on all prepaid and postpaid customers however
customer need to send a sms(free) to get these benefits.

The cool change over of new Vodafone/Vodaphone Essar India website with little bit of flash not too heavy as it was when newly launched. Easy to find info now especially caller tunes :p .

Guys to view your Vodafone (hutch) bills online you have to register for it. There are three ways to register your self for online bill from vodafone.
1) SMS EBILL  <Your email>  to 111.
2) Call Vodafone Care on 111 (toll free).
3) Visit a Vodafone Store or Vodafone Mini Store in your neighbourhood.
