In local market, people are selling GSM card RS: 100, wereas its actuall price is RS:50.00. TATA advertising to the public can buy TATA GSM for RS:50.00, but in market people are telling this advertisement is FACK. Take care.

i have purchased tata docomo for just Rs.49 worth talk value Rs.5. But the seller request me to first recharge of Rs.51, because for the first recharge of Rs.51, the seller will get Rs.30 as commission……but there is no need to recharge…
Tariff Rate:
local, std, landline – 1 paise per 1 Second
(actually std 2 paise per 1 second, but now they give an offer 1 paise for 1 second)
isd calls at the rate of 11 paise per second
SMS : local – 60 paise, natation – Rs.1.20 international – Rs.5.
At present they have only one rate cutter of Rs.25 for local calls charged @ Rs.1 paise for 2 seconds.(30 days only)
the voice clarity and very fast outgoing calls…..but i dont get the call charges display for every calls..

I have purchased Tata Docomo for Rs.150 here in vizag cos sims are not available that easily. I got a recharge of Rs.5 + Rs.51. Here in vizag shops are selling docomo sims for 200 also saying that there is a demand for it. Tata & group should keep concern over this matter and take necessary action over these people.
Tariff Rates as I Know:
Local, Std, Landline – 1 paise per 1 Second
(Actually std 2 paise per 1 second, but now they give an offer 1 paise for 1 second)In future they are going to give a top up facility (Rs.35) where in which std call rate will again become 1 paise per 1 second. This top-up is valid for 90 days where in which we have to top up again.
SMS : Local – 60 paise (first 3 sms will be charged 60 paise per sms after which there will be 150 local sms free in the state of AP alone, National – Rs.1.20, International – Rs.5.
At present they have only one rate cutter of Rs.25 which they call as Juice up for which the call charges will be Rs.1 paise for 2 seconds.(30 days only)This is only for ougoing local calls to Tata Indicom, Virgin and Tata Docomo.
But Tata has to maintain this tariff which will be good and in future Tata Docomo will be the number one service provider than anyother networks.

This is regarding sms offer (National)in Andhra Pradesh.
In AP all the service providers offer only local sms. They charge around 1.5 per national sms. Where as, in Kerala all the service providers offer this national sms offer (even tata docoma). Rs 30 – 600 messages. I request you such type of offer be provided to Andhra Pradesh also.

A dealer in my area (Badlapur, Dist:THANE, MAHARASHRA state) is selling DoCoMo Lifetime cards at Rs.150
The SIM pack that he is selling has Rs.49 price tag but call rates indicated on pack are Rs.1/min for local & Rs.1.5/min for STD.
He charges Rs.100 extra to do a special recharge that provides 1 second pulse.

I bought Tata Docomo SIM at Vasai/ Mumbai for Rs.225. I was told the base price is 50, plus first recharge with talktime of Rs.100 costs Rs.175.
Now after paying such a high premium I don’t have range here indoors. If I call customer support, I don’t get through. When I got through, I got a cross connection with a support call in progress! Then when I tried, if I ask to speak to their personnel, the call gets disconnected! I tried writing on their official Twitter page, no use.
Its a great service, but still to stabilize I think.

You will achieve 1st place in Indian gsm industry provided that when the sms charges should be reduced. We dont want limited period free sms promotional offer. We want sms with standard constant unvariable rates(10 paise/ 1 local sms). We know, youths and students love more sms’s than calling a person. So, consider on sms rates. This is my humble advice.

hello friends…..tata docomo charged 1 paise per sec…but they dont introduced ratecutters for other mobiles…….
so if we use aircel,airtel…..they charged 50paise per minute….
for example….if we speak 10 mins – 0.50p * 10 mins = 5 Rupees only.
But in Tata docomo…if we speak 10 mins – 0.60p* 10mins = 6 Rupees.
Nowadays reliance mobile charged 0.50paise per min without rate cutters.
so, tata docomo is only useful for 2.5 mins…after that the rate of call is high comparing others….(others charged 1.50 rupees for 3 mins…tata docomo charged 1.80 rupees….

docomo has revealed that every call and data charge will be counted as per second(pulse rate) and they say that other operator do not know how to count, but i say that even docomo does’nt know to count,
as the pulse rate for the national and international roaming is counted a per minute and docomo is cheating our innocent customer indirectly.
im very much disappointed with your service and most of the time i get “ERROR IN CONNECTION” or “NETWORK BUSY”.

i went to buy a prepaid connection and the lady at tata indicom exclusive store told me that it has not been launched yet. Soo can u tell me when it is going to launch or will you show us advertisement only
