Tata DOCOMO Gsm In Mumbai
Tata Docomo Gsm network is showing up in Mumbai as 405-039 or INA-039. There customer Care helpline no is already working 90290-12345. According to some insight by a Tata employee the service will be launched by 15th August 2009. Expected tariff plans are some what similar to what they have launched in other states.
Update Tata Docomo Is already available in mumbai.

RELIANCE OR TATA SHOULD LAUNCH A SCHEME IN WHICH THE OLD CDMA USERS COULD CONVERT THEIR CDMA SIM CARDS TO GSM CARDS WITHOUT CHANGING THEIR MOBILE NUMBER. I THINK THAT RELIANCE WOULD BE THE FIRST TO LAUNCH SUCH A GOOD SCHEME. TATA CAN ALSO DO IT. I HOPE THIS MAY BE APPLICABLE SHORTLY BECAUSE BEING A RELIANCE CDMA USER I WANT TO SWITCH MY SIM TO GSM WITHOUT CHANGING MY NUMBER AS I HAVE GOT A WONDERFUL NUMBER.

hello friends :- tata docomo is really good network in mumbai i am using it compare to reliance GSM reliance is worst in mumbai and other state tata gives more economy plans but thoda expensive hai coz they started with per sec billing so we have to pay 60p/min. while other operator gives it local calls 50p/min. and atleast 200 sms free/month in postpaid other operator plans started from 99 /- monthly rentals here you have to pay minimum 299/- so guys daal rice khao ya biryani pay tho uthnahi karna hai ……..

I am origin from Mumbai but recently got transferred to Chennai I want a GSM Sim Card where I get facility when i am in mumbai it will be local, if I am at chennai it will be local over there also it should have a scheme where incoming should be absolutely free, TATA to TATA & Tata Landlines should be free, with minimum monthly rentals say upto Rs.250/- to Rs.300/- and sms @ 50 paise.

Nokia-3315, Nokia- 1100, Nokia- 3310 handsets are not compatible with Do Co Mo SIMs. Other than these handsets all other GSM handsets are compatible with Tata Docomo Sim.

2)I am a Tata CDMA postpaid user(Baroda)having free unlimited STD calling from Tata CDMA to Tata CDMA. So will this same scheme be applicable from my Tata CDMA to Tata Docomo.

The request you are referring to is not possible at the moment. You have to take a separate sim of TATA DOCOMO to get a connection.

Its my request to the tata dokomo sevice providers to give adequate information to the Tata Indicom Showroom owners regarding the incompatibility issues of TATA DOKOMO SIM various handsets,as in my case with NOKIA 1100.
I got the sim from KANHAIYAJI COMMUNICATION WARDHA MAHARASHTRA MOB- 9881820637 on 17Aug 09 after reconfirming this issue, which the dealer stongly objected siting an example that-he himself is using this very handset.
since then twice i asked the same question which he again denied.
Now that i am unable to make any calls niether to the customer care i was unable to figuire this problem till i logged on to this blog.
Its my kind and sincere suggestion to the service providers to give proper tecnical induction to the delears so that such incidences doesnt happen in future.

I want to say that tata service is the worst I have experienced. It is very irritating to use tata cdma. Every month they disconnect my mbl and send msg to submit documents. I have submitted my documents 5 times in 5 months.
And the most important tata’s customer service is the worst and disgusting, some time I feel to kill any tata customer service executive.
I recommend you never to use tata service and request tatas to improve their service, and train their executives technically & how to talk with the customers.

Because of Loop Mobile’s absolutely free WAP surfing Plan
and
Airtel for Unlimited GPRS in Just 15 Rs. for 24 hours.
Both Networks are very Popular in College Student’s because
of Internet.
Tata DoCoMo itself is the best as far as there calling rates and SMS charge is Concerned. But For me it is very Costly as it charges 1ps/1kb for Internet. When you guys will give the Plans such as Unlimited GPRS or WAP for say 24 hour i.e. 1 Day with some charge so that I can Use it.
Aircel also Provides Rs.14/3.day Unlimited Pocket Internet
and Rs.98/30.days Unlimited Pocket Internet. So Waiting for Aircel to launch in Maharashtra in Ambarnath, Badlapur Area. which is not launched yet here.
