To reach customer care of Airtel Prepaid/Postpaid you can use either of these methods
- As an Airtel customer you have the convenience to access our 24-hr customer service number 121 from your Airtel phone.
- You could also send an SMS to short code 121 and our Customer service executive will get back to you.
- Email your questions, comments or suggestions to us at 121@airtel.in and we will get right back to you. Mention your mobile no. like 9810012345 in the subject of the mail without any space or any special characters between the digits for a quick response.
- We aim to resolve complaints at first point of contact. In case you don’t get satisfactory resolution of your query / complaint at the customer service centre you can get in touch with our Nodal officers.
- In case you are not satisfied with the resolution given at Nodal level, you may get in touch with Appellate Officers for redressal of appeal.

Postpaid bill problem (Mobile No- 9902808044)
I have Airtel Postpaid connection from last 3 months. Since I have taken this connection, I have not received the hardcopy or softcopy of my postpaid bill. This is the worst service I ever received from any service company.
When I have taken the connection I have given my email address to get the softcopy of my bill. After 1 month, when I did not receive the bill, I have called the customer care and with my surprise I have found that it is a different email address registered with them. I asked them to change it. After a few days I have activated my online account with Airtel. Unfortunately, the account database was still registered with the wrong email address. To rectify this I called the customer service again and enquired about the previous request and asked them to delete the wrong email address and update the right one in their database. Finally it was communicated to me that my email address was changed and from next month I should get my bills. But I was not that fortunate.
On the second month, I have received an Airtel Postpaid detailed bill of someone else. I could not believe my eyes. A well-established company like Airtel actually does not care about the privacy of their customers. They might have sent my customized postpaid bill to some other email address. And this is going on and on. This is the third month with Airtel postpaid connection and without any difference this month also I have received another customer’s postpaid bill. To pay my bill I have to log in to their website and check my detailed bill. That is the only option I have left out and I am doing the same for last three months. I am so frustrated now that it does not make any sense to call the customer service and get a new request number (I already have plenty of the… I have even spoken to the supervisors few times).
Please let me know how to resolve the issue.

Dear sir/ madam,
I have not received the bill for the month of June 2008 for my mobile no 9810496315(post paid number being operated from gurgaon) . Hence i have not paid the bill. as you can see all my bills are paid well within the due date, except this one.
i request a duplicate bill may be sent to me and the late charges may be wavied off.
Also small unwanted items have been activated like Missed call alerts, discounted local calls etc., All these may please bedeactivated with immediate effect.
Hope to receive an early reply from your end.

card deactivated
I have submited the sim card to airtel office to change from pre- to post, paid the activation charge, however its 3 weeks there is no response.
They have deleted my life time pre- # from their data base and not activated the post card. Since 3 weeks I am out of the world.My sim is deactivated and the customer cae is not handling the case.
I dnt know what to do ?
Is this my fault that I had believe in Airtel India?
as Cusomer should i bear the loss?

I was Airtel customer (9910059978)but now i am abroad for 1 year and i have requested the customer care people in may 2008 when i was leaving India to send me the final bill on my e-mail address.But this is july and i have not received my bill yet.I want to pay Airtel but not received the bill those who does not want to pay receive the bill on time…STRANGE

I’m a Malaysian Diplomat working in Chennai for Consulate General of Malaysia (Malaysian Trade Commission). I have called your customer care more than 20 times,sent email to 121@airtelindia.com,went to airtel centre,talking to your executive etc regarding my ISD connection. The feedback that I received everytime I called/met your so called customer care that “don’t worry sir your ISD will be connected within 2 hours”.I even have paid Rs7500 to activate my International roaming. However until today which it has been almost 1 month I still can’t get ISD connection. Thus I’m wondering what is happening with my request. Is it to difficult to connect my number for ISD?.Is there any documents that I need to submit(which for your information I did it already).
So again, I request kindly connect my ISD connection for my number 9003037771 immediately and I mean IMMEDIATELY. It is shameful for such a big company like airtel can’t do this simple request.

I got international roaming activated on my mobile no 9871911934. As soon as I started using it, I have been receiving unsolicited SMS ( Advertisements)and would end up paying huge amounts to AIRTEL. I never received these SMS while in India. I request airtel authorities to simply block the advertisement related calls or SMS to my mobile no 9871911934. Unless done quickly… I have no option except to get it disconnected permanently.

I informed disconnection of my post paid mobile connections: 9791004451 & 9791004452, on 12th July 2008 from your AIRTEL SHOP and settled all the dues to me. Still both are active and Bill is raised to my BANKER for ECS debit. In fact I recieved calls from your Customer care and I confirmed for the same very next day. Why this has been done now. How should I claim the extra amount charged and debited from my ACCOUNT through ECS.

I am using Airtel postpaid number for last one month. This is the first time when i used Airtel service. It is one of the worst service i have seen ever.I have taken a postpaid plan of 444Rs. I did not even use 444rs. Still, I have to pay around 900 rs. What the hell is provided by Airtel to the customer. They do not let us know the plan in proper way. Can you let me know what’s the benefit of it.
We should raise a voice against Airtel service. We are completely fed of by this service.The far-far better service is being provided by IDEA and HUTCH. Please we just request to Airtel, Improve your maths skills and service.

Dear Team,
I am using an airtel number 9872885245 since last 4 years approximately. I have opted for F& F services for which a rental of Rs 50+ service tax has been charged. I gave a request to disconnect my this service on 29/10/2007 vide complaint no 14336375 for which i received a confirmation message that this service has been deactivated. After that somehow i was not able to see my bill and deposited whatever the bill amount is. In the month of May 2008 i saw my bill and there were charges for same service then i again made a request on 30/05/2008 vide complaint no. 688678260 but again there were charges in the next month after that on receiving next bill i was surprised that service is still active and i am paying for that again made a call on 29/06/2008 vide complaint no 710298081 and charges for that month were waived and now again bill for July 2008 contains the same charges.
Even by complaining again and again Airtel is not deactivating F&F service and i am left with two options either to pay what i am not using or to call them again and again from my precious time as Airtel customer care executives are not approachable easily.
Please do the needful.

Subject: Regarding wrong deduction of amount for GPRS services.
Dear Sir,
I have activated GPRS connection on my mobile and the terrif charges for GPRS connection is 14.99 per day, but i am facing a problem relating to false deduction of my account.
My prepaid account got deducted for Rs75 and Rs60 in a single day for GPRS services. I have call the customer care first on 7th Aug 2008 evening and informed them about the false deduction of VAS (value added services)charges from my account and ask them to clarify, in return CC (customer care) executive told me to call after 24 hrs as there system is not updated. on the same day at night my prepaid a/c again been deducted thrice for VAS and same was informed to the CC executive.
I have called again on 8th Aug but get the same reply to wait for 24hrs as there system is not updated.
I didn’t get any reply or information through SMS for the CC executive relating to this problem till 13th Aug…
On 14th Aug I am experienced the same problem this time my account get deducted for 45 Rs in a single day. Same was informed to CC executive but no response as there system is not updated.

Recently i got an SMS from airtel(64611025) which stats the following: You have been renewed for(ResubscribtionF or AFC, TextBasedServices) subscription service on airtel IVR. You have been charged Rs 25/-
So I was not able to find out for what reason the charges are been debited since i haven’t asked for any one of those. I spoke to the CSA name Meenakshi (Around 11pm-21 Oct 2008) so said the reason for the same and also logged my complaint for the same since I never asked for it. While giving information she was so pathetic on the call, she was just chatting and giggling around with her colleague and was in so hurry to disconnect the call. Listen Guys this is something very poor. So I asked her to transfer the call to the senior s as I can have a word in accordance with that. But she was she laughing on the call and replied that the senior are not available and started for forgiveness. But I stood on my way that I want to hear the same from the senior but finally as Expected this Stupid Girl without even caring what gonna happen disconnected the call. Again I called the Customer Care but this time I didn’t got any response from other side but I can still hear some vulgar conversation going out there on the Floor. What is this? I mean is this the service which airtel provide. The Girl also gave me the Complaint no.1021445651 and 102144565200 which I am sure that this numbers are Fake one.
I want explanation on the same and I am also attaching the Audio Clip with this mail since document support. Hope so that at least you guys will not give this kind of treatment. And I also want my complaint to be resolved as early as Possible. Or else I have to make my step to higher authority (Having the Audio Clip).

last week i was lost my mobile so i get the duplicate number from Airtel… after activation insert the card to my mobile(Nokia 6233 or Nokia 1108) its shows display for my mobile “SIM CARD UPDATE STARTED” … after the Msg Signal is disconnected after 10 or 15 mins take for signal…

Pls never take airtel connection. Esspecially from the Airtel shop in kalkaji main market New Delhi. I am trying for the last 9 months for my Rs1500 refund but nobody listens. They disconnect the phone. The service girl named Rhea is very arrogant and is a complete lair.

This Kalkaji airtel centre only makes false promises.
