To reach customer care of Airtel Prepaid/Postpaid you can use either of these methods

  1. As an Airtel customer you have the convenience to access our 24-hr customer service number 121 from your Airtel phone.
  2. You could also send an SMS to short code 121 and our Customer service executive will get back to you.
  3. Email your questions, comments or suggestions to us at 121@airtel.in and we will get right back to you. Mention your mobile no. like 9810012345 in the subject of the mail without any space or any special characters between the digits for a quick response.
  4. We aim to resolve complaints at first point of contact. In case you don’t get satisfactory resolution of your query / complaint at the customer service centre you can get in touch with our Nodal officers.
  5. In case you are not satisfied with the resolution given at Nodal level, you may get in touch with Appellate Officers for redressal of appeal.

    Postpaid bill problem (Mobile No- 9902808044)

    I have Airtel Postpaid connection from last 3 months. Since I have taken this connection, I have not received the hardcopy or softcopy of my postpaid bill. This is the worst service I ever received from any service company.

    When I have taken the connection I have given my email address to get the softcopy of my bill. After 1 month, when I did not receive the bill, I have called the customer care and with my surprise I have found that it is a different email address registered with them. I asked them to change it. After a few days I have activated my online account with Airtel. Unfortunately, the account database was still registered with the wrong email address. To rectify this I called the customer service again and enquired about the previous request and asked them to delete the wrong email address and update the right one in their database. Finally it was communicated to me that my email address was changed and from next month I should get my bills. But I was not that fortunate.

    On the second month, I have received an Airtel Postpaid detailed bill of someone else. I could not believe my eyes. A well-established company like Airtel actually does not care about the privacy of their customers. They might have sent my customized postpaid bill to some other email address. And this is going on and on. This is the third month with Airtel postpaid connection and without any difference this month also I have received another customer’s postpaid bill. To pay my bill I have to log in to their website and check my detailed bill. That is the only option I have left out and I am doing the same for last three months. I am so frustrated now that it does not make any sense to call the customer service and get a new request number (I already have plenty of the… I have even spoken to the supervisors few times).

    Please let me know how to resolve the issue.

    I have not received the bill for the month of June 2008 for my mobile no 9810496315(post paid number being operated from gurgaon) . Hence i have not paid the bill. as you can see all my bills are paid well within the due date, except this one.

    i request a duplicate bill may be sent to me and the late charges may be wavied off.

    Also small unwanted items have been activated like Missed call alerts, discounted local calls etc., All these may please bedeactivated with immediate effect.

    Hope to receive an early reply from your end.

    I have submited the sim card to airtel office to change from pre- to post, paid the activation charge, however its 3 weeks there is no response.
    They have deleted my life time pre- # from their data base and not activated the post card. Since 3 weeks I am out of the world.My sim is deactivated and the customer cae is not handling the case.
    I dnt know what to do ?
    Is this my fault that I had believe in Airtel India?
    as Cusomer should i bear the loss?

    I was Airtel customer (9910059978)but now i am abroad for 1 year and i have requested the customer care people in may 2008 when i was leaving India to send me the final bill on my e-mail address.But this is july and i have not received my bill yet.I want to pay Airtel but not received the bill those who does not want to pay receive the bill on time…STRANGE

    I’m a Malaysian Diplomat working in Chennai for Consulate General of Malaysia (Malaysian Trade Commission). I have called your customer care more than 20 times,sent email to 121@airtelindia.com,went to airtel centre,talking to your executive etc regarding my ISD connection. The feedback that I received everytime I called/met your so called customer care that “don’t worry sir your ISD will be connected within 2 hours”.I even have paid Rs7500 to activate my International roaming. However until today which it has been almost 1 month I still can’t get ISD connection. Thus I’m wondering what is happening with my request. Is it to difficult to connect my number for ISD?.Is there any documents that I need to submit(which for your information I did it already).
    So again, I request kindly connect my ISD connection for my number 9003037771 immediately and I mean IMMEDIATELY. It is shameful for such a big company like airtel can’t do this simple request.

    I got international roaming activated on my mobile no 9871911934. As soon as I started using it, I have been receiving unsolicited SMS ( Advertisements)and would end up paying huge amounts to AIRTEL. I never received these SMS while in India. I request airtel authorities to simply block the advertisement related calls or SMS to my mobile no 9871911934. Unless done quickly… I have no option except to get it disconnected permanently.

    I informed disconnection of my post paid mobile connections: 9791004451 & 9791004452, on 12th July 2008 from your AIRTEL SHOP and settled all the dues to me. Still both are active and Bill is raised to my BANKER for ECS debit. In fact I recieved calls from your Customer care and I confirmed for the same very next day. Why this has been done now. How should I claim the extra amount charged and debited from my ACCOUNT through ECS.

    I am using Airtel postpaid number for last one month. This is the first time when i used Airtel service. It is one of the worst service i have seen ever.I have taken a postpaid plan of 444Rs. I did not even use 444rs. Still, I have to pay around 900 rs. What the hell is provided by Airtel to the customer. They do not let us know the plan in proper way. Can you let me know what’s the benefit of it.
    We should raise a voice against Airtel service. We are completely fed of by this service.The far-far better service is being provided by IDEA and HUTCH. Please we just request to Airtel, Improve your maths skills and service.

    Dear Team,

    I am using an airtel number 9872885245 since last 4 years approximately. I have opted for F& F services for which a rental of Rs 50+ service tax has been charged. I gave a request to disconnect my this service on 29/10/2007 vide complaint no 14336375 for which i received a confirmation message that this service has been deactivated. After that somehow i was not able to see my bill and deposited whatever the bill amount is. In the month of May 2008 i saw my bill and there were charges for same service then i again made a request on 30/05/2008 vide complaint no. 688678260 but again there were charges in the next month after that on receiving next bill i was surprised that service is still active and i am paying for that again made a call on 29/06/2008 vide complaint no 710298081 and charges for that month were waived and now again bill for July 2008 contains the same charges.

    Even by complaining again and again Airtel is not deactivating F&F service and i am left with two options either to pay what i am not using or to call them again and again from my precious time as Airtel customer care executives are not approachable easily.

    Please do the needful.

    Subject: Regarding wrong deduction of amount for GPRS services.

    Dear Sir,
    I have activated GPRS connection on my mobile and the terrif charges for GPRS connection is 14.99 per day, but i am facing a problem relating to false deduction of my account.
    My prepaid account got deducted for Rs75 and Rs60 in a single day for GPRS services. I have call the customer care first on 7th Aug 2008 evening and informed them about the false deduction of VAS (value added services)charges from my account and ask them to clarify, in return CC (customer care) executive told me to call after 24 hrs as there system is not updated. on the same day at night my prepaid a/c again been deducted thrice for VAS and same was informed to the CC executive.
    I have called again on 8th Aug but get the same reply to wait for 24hrs as there system is not updated.

    I didn’t get any reply or information through SMS for the CC executive relating to this problem till 13th Aug…
    On 14th Aug I am experienced the same problem this time my account get deducted for 45 Rs in a single day. Same was informed to CC executive but no response as there system is not updated.

    Recently i got an SMS from airtel(64611025) which stats the following: You have been renewed for(ResubscribtionF or AFC, TextBasedServices) subscription service on airtel IVR. You have been charged Rs 25/-
    So I was not able to find out for what reason the charges are been debited since i haven’t asked for any one of those. I spoke to the CSA name Meenakshi (Around 11pm-21 Oct 2008) so said the reason for the same and also logged my complaint for the same since I never asked for it. While giving information she was so pathetic on the call, she was just chatting and giggling around with her colleague and was in so hurry to disconnect the call. Listen Guys this is something very poor. So I asked her to transfer the call to the senior s as I can have a word in accordance with that. But she was she laughing on the call and replied that the senior are not available and started for forgiveness. But I stood on my way that I want to hear the same from the senior but finally as Expected this Stupid Girl without even caring what gonna happen disconnected the call. Again I called the Customer Care but this time I didn’t got any response from other side but I can still hear some vulgar conversation going out there on the Floor. What is this? I mean is this the service which airtel provide. The Girl also gave me the Complaint no.1021445651 and 102144565200 which I am sure that this numbers are Fake one.
    I want explanation on the same and I am also attaching the Audio Clip with this mail since document support. Hope so that at least you guys will not give this kind of treatment. And I also want my complaint to be resolved as early as Possible. Or else I have to make my step to higher authority (Having the Audio Clip).

When I said to close this number, they are not closing and asking for scheme amounht which dont want. Even several time AIRTEL person came to my home asking for scheme money. This is a special number selected by me.I use this for 3 years.Since I and then I was relocating in Dubai, I have decided to convert my post paid connection to prepaid. I have complited all the formalities for the conversion from post paid to pre paid.(considering that In prepaid the international roaming is a default feature).when I was in India every day I is to follow up with Airtel. But my prepaid didnt got activeted. Then I shifted to Dubai and started followup with Airtel from Dubai( Spent considerable amount of money). But still it dosent activated. Now again I started following up for my prepaid activation , and surprisingly I came to know that Airtel has assigned this number to somebody else.

    I have lost link with my all friendship circle.This is a big loss for me.

    How can airtel assign my number to other person ,before 6 months of deactivation.

On this Holy festival what happened with me that I took this decision of leaving Airtel for through out my life is like this. I would like to bring in your notice of illegally debiting money from my prepaid number by sending message without any call or message from the phone.     Hi,

    My Name is Anurag Abhinav and I have been a long time subscriber of Airtel for the past four years. I have a post paid mobile connection with Airtel and I am highly dissatisfied with the behavior of Airtel Customer Care Representatives and collection agents as well as the services I am receiving from Airtel from past four years.

    My bill amount is always very high and always track my usage records of my Airtel postpaid mobile services. However, most of the time, I get the bill amount unexpectedly very high and beyond my expectation on the Airtel monthly invoice.

    In-between my services with Airtel, I requested two times to cancel my Airtel mobile service as I do not want to continue receiving services from Airtel due to wrong bill charges, very poor customer services, terrible behavior of Airtel customer Executives and Collection Agents. Whenever I requested to cancel my services permanently and I am ready to make my final settlement payment; but Airtel executives always dishonored my request and forced me to continue the services and not to cancel the services in spite of that I never wanted to continue this worthless service with Airtel.

    I am not using my mobile postpaid services from past three months but then also I got an overall past due bill amount of Rs.1906.00 without any usage. Airtel most of the time charged me incorrectly. Without giving me information, executives directly reaches my residence to collect the amount due, in spite of I always paid my bills on time and if it is late, then also I made my payments with the complete applicable late fine charges. Within my service period, Airtel mostly charged me for those services which I never requested to provide me like.

    They regularly charged me for the Hello Tunes on monthly basis…but I had never requested for proving me this service on my mobile. Airtel Always charged me for missed call Alerts services on monthly basis, but I never requested them to provide me this facility, Airtel regularly charged me for Internet and data services, however, I never requested Airtel to activate these services on my mobile number. I am just fed up using the horrible telecom services of Airtel and wish to get out of Airtel without wasting even a single second as I am continuously being cheated by them.

    This is the second time I am receiving a letter from Airtel for making the payment against my overall due balance remaining on my Airtel mobile postpaid service account. Two representative’s numbers and names are also mentioned there in the letter for the clarifications if any. From last 5 to 6 days I am continuously trying to contact those Airtel representatives on the given contact numbers but they never receives the phones and it always continuous ringing and ringing.

    I immediately want to make the payment against the overall incorrect total due amount charged on my mobile postpaid service account; and wish to cancel the mobile service with Airtel with immediate effect. But, the representatives not receiving my call and I am trying to contact them from past 5 to 6 days.

    When they are not ready to receive their customer’s calls on their contact numbers then, why the hell their names and phone numbers are mentioned on the letter Airtel sent me twice. Ridiculous service and worst customer service amongst all the leading telecom service providers in this country.

    Today morning, again I tried to make the call to the give contact numbers of the Airtel executives, and fortunately on the second number, my call was picked up by one of the Airtel’s customer representative. I requested him to come and please collect the final payment against my postpaid mobile service and cancel the service with immediate effect. Then he replied very badly that go and make the payment in the nearest retail centre of Airtel in your area.

    I told him that I don’t get enough time after my official works schedules and due to which, I won’t be able to go and make the payment in your retail centre. So, kindly come and receive the payment from me through the cheque and cancel my service with immediate effect after receiving full and final payment against the total due balance reflecting on my Airtel mobile Postpaid service account.

    The rep said.., I will not come today and give me a call again tomorrow in the morning in this regard. He also told me that why don’t you contact the other executive who’s number is mentioned on the letter. I was shocked and amazed that even being such a long time customer of Airtel, which kind of customer service and behaviour I am receiving from these Airtel reps.

    I am ready to make the payment and they are not ready to come and the collect the payment from me and cancel my account. However, Airtel has enough time to send me letters and letters which contains threatening language pertaining that Airtel will pass the matter to their solicitors with instructions to commence legal proceedings and actions against me and the same will be done without further warning to me.

    Finally, I just wanted to mention here that I was; and I am, always ready to make the payment against the overall due balance amount reflecting on my Airtel Mobile Post Paid Service Account. The Airtel representative can come at my residence with prior intimation to me about their visit at my residence for collecting the payment from me and proving me confirmation proof that my Airtel Post Paid Mobile services got cancelled and closed with immediate effect after I make the payment.

    After closing my relationship with Airtel, I will never prefer to re-establish my any kind of relationship with Airtel Telecom Service Provider Company. In past four years of my relationship with Airtel, the experience I had with Airtel is very disappointing and dissatisfying.

    I wish Airtel all the very best and advice them to think over the words I had mentioned in this letter if they really wish to achieve the expectation level of their customers; else will lose their customer’s one by one like me.

    after 3 months of waiting airtel has chnaged my post paid connection to prepaid(according to them there is short supply). sim has been changed on 14th april, 2009 (at 11.00 am). post paid sim is not working and new prepaid sim is also not working properly. whenever i dial 123 and entering my number, they replies that the number is not valid, some time after entering the number they ask me to enter the number again and again.i have contacted the centre at Town Hall, Udaipur even they coud not succeed to resolve the problem and suggested me to wait of for 24 hrs, after passing 24 hrs they told me to wait for another 24 hrs.

    Those Two SMS’s Are saying to me.

    2.Thanks for using (VASPACK,Alert) SubscriptionService on airtel voice.You have been charged Rs.99.

    Finnaly ,I loose the money Rs.119 with out doing anything with my mobile. I was literally struggle 40 minutes with your service and with your customer care number.Because of that ,i may behviored bit harsh with your customer service people( I said ‘This is third time . iam calling regarding the same issue.Some another idiot keep on giving another numbers and waste my time”). She responded mind your langauge and she was cut the phone.

    Upto that point its fine.after that she has done the follwong things.

    1.she has removed accessing of my mobile to talk with your customercare people.
    2. She fined me Rs.119/- without saying anything about her.

    I said only who are the Idoits giving the wrong number.in that sentense ,i didnt say anything about her.Please check your recording audio in your customercare centre.

    After that i spoke with your customer care number from another number and filed case with Ms.Nita.

    Kindly go through those audio records and take necessary action againest Ms. Suchita and add Rs.119 to my mobile number ( The amount deducted from my account after 8.10PM on 08/05/2009 only and if you want confirm check it out your records also).

    My name is Naveen Kumar Meena. I’m a costumer of Bharti-Airtel Cellular Services (Airtel Mobile No. 9960851933, Maharashtra-Goa Circle). Initially I was using its prepaid services and around 2 months back I got a call from their executive to convert it to postpaid. Then I called an executive to my place to tell me details & collect the documents. When the executive came to my place he told me plan details and I accepted that. He gave me the welcome kit with the SIM Card. He told me that after the address verification being done your prepaid number will be deactivated and after that deactivation, your new Postpaid SIM Card will be activated within 4 hours. But it took more than 2 days to be activated, that too when I went to their Relationship Centre for around 5 times (In between all this the executive who gave me the kit ignored my calls). In this time period my work / business was severely hit as internet and mobile are two important things for my work. Then immediately after the activation I called up their Customer Care Number to confirm my bill plan as I know wrong bill plans get activated due to technical problems. The executive told me that the bill plan activated on my number was not the same which I was told by the first executive. They told me to talk to that executive again. Then I talked to that executive he told me that the bill plan is same as he told me and he will confirm it and will call me back again. But he never called me back again, even he never picked my calls after that.

    Then I called the Customer Care to lodge a complaint for the change of the bill plan and they told me that the first bill I need to pay and immediately after that I need to send a mail to the Customer Care regarding the change of bill plan and the adjustments of the wrong bill plan will be made in the next bill. I did it, paid first bill and sent a mail but I get a automated notification mail and no email or call after that. After that I talked to Customer Care 4-5 times but they told me it is under process. Finally after few days they told me to send the mail by my official Email ID. I did this too but all in vain, I get nothing after a automated reply. Then I called up the Customer Care again for 2-3 times then they finally provided me the number of their Nodal Officer and told me to talk to them. I talked to him told him the details. He told me to forward the email I sent to the Customer Care to him. I did it but this time I even didn’t get an automated mail and after that he never picked up my call.

    Then I talked to the Customer Care for 2-3 times and they told me to send a mail to their dedicated department for Corporate Customers. I did this too but again I only get an automated reply with a Unique Reference Number, a Helpline Number, and a promise to be reverted within 24 hours. But I neither got a call nor an email from their side. Then I called up the helpline number for 4-5 times and they every time told me to revert back within 24 hours but it never happened. Then finally I talked to a supervisor on that helpline and she told me that she will check and call me back again within 24 hours. But I never got a call. Then today finally called her and she told me that she tried me but was not able to connect to me. And she told me that she tried to check the details but nothing of help and she was not able to connect to that executive who gave me the Kit and she didn’t get a reply from the Technical Department.

    After talking to them for more then 20 times (at least 15 minutes each time), mailing them and doing all the stuff I can do I got an answer that they can’t do anything and I am still using the same bill plan. I am with Airtel for last 6 years (3 years in Rajasthan & 3 years here in Pune) and this number is distributed amongst all my contacts so it is also very difficult to switch it. Now what should I do.

    I have all the mails I sent to different people in Airtel regarding this and their automated replies but no further communication after that. Now I’m going to send a complaint with all details to TRAI with a communication that if no action taken I will go straight to the Consumer Courts.

    I am on roaming from 1st july’09 but my bill was outstanding,I have paid my mobile bill on airtel relationship center in orbit mall (INDORE)at 07:45pm on 04.07.09.As it was the time for the relationship centre to get closed,I asked him to enter it into the system but he promised that the bill will get paid and he ll enter my payment from backend.But till next day morning as it is sunday is still pending and showing outstanding.And my sim has been deactivated by them.I have been suffering due to this insane and irresponsible behavior of CCE from airtel.I am user of Airtel from last 1 year of this number.But really pathetic and customer unfriendly people are woking in airtel.

    I hope an severe action would be taken against those people.

    1 Please note, the migration was to the same subscriber; under the same name, same billing address, same phone number, same SIM card number.
    1.1 All documents required [as mentioned on the Migration Form AND by the representatives at Airtel Outlet] had been submitted [on 05/08/09 and 11/08/09 respectively]
    1.2 Re-charge amounts of Rs.198 per number have been submitted.
    1.3 Post submission, extra documents were required [as directed by phone calls from Airtel]. They have also been submitted, in person.
    1.4. Please note, the requirement of these extra documents was never mentioned in any form or at the Airtel Outlet initially.

    5.2 As a result, users of the above mentioned numbers have missed job appointments, professional appointments, educational appointments and social appointments resulting in financial loss and severe mental trauma.

    6. With respect to [5.2] what financial damages can I seek from Airtel under legal supervision?

And he told me to agree the reiumburse the said amount in my next invoice. When i recd. my invoice for the m/o May-09, there was no any reiumbursement as per committed. Again i have called up to customer care, he told me the same thing that you submit your rest of the amount and balance amount (late payment fee) will be reiumbursed in your next bill. But i told him that you first confirmed me through sms that this much of amount will be reiumbursed in your invoice, then i will deposit my amount. And till today i have not recd. any invoice with reiumbursment amount. This chain now been made to sep-09. so i request you again the reiumburse the amount (late payment fee)from Mar-09 to Aug-09.

    However once i paid, i can not see any of the information through online. Next time i can see only when i have outstanding balance.

    I had submitted all my documents to the Aundh Pune Airtel office on 19-Aug-2009. My mobile got disconnected three times mentioning that they have NOT received the documents. I had submitted ALL the documents to the Aundh Pune Airtel office and they are saying that there is no problem with the documents. I am not sure on what basis you guys disconnect the phone completely.

    The lady – Kishori who is responsible for the office hides and the junior folks do NOT give her number. The customer care is horrible. I am surprised about your MISMANAGEMNENT and the harassment that Airtel is creating.

    If the Airtel office writes me back that they have LOST the documents I can submit new ones otherwise I will have to go to the media and senior folks of your incompetency and incapability.

    At least for that time make my INCOMING ACTIVE.

    Sorry to state the attitude of Air tel. I took a sim card who promised to allot 9177525252. After few days i was told that that number is allotted to some body. I asked to allot different number or reimburse my money. This happned during April ‘09. I gave comlaint several times. I also sent mail during August ‘09. The Customer care office called me took more that an hour to listen my problem and informed me that he is sending a request to,allot a different number. Inspite of several reminders and mails I din’t get even a single response. The people are arrogant and least bother about the problems of customers. It is time to rethink about the Airtel. Pl. donot visit Airtel office either they misbehave or avoid talking as they all chat among themselves.

    I was fan of Airtel Postpaid service in Bangalore as I am using two airtel psot paid connection in Bangalore.In this diwali I went to my home town & dissconnected our old BSNL Landline phone & purchase Airtel Phone on my name with permanent address in Durg with valid document Driving License.Date purchase before diwali (14th Oct) connection works fine as usual & after 5 day Airtel exective has visited my house in durg & verified the address & told me once you get call from airtel tell them I have verifed so I will get point.I have not received any call for 5 days & suddenly i got message in my mobile(9685045644) your address verification is not done & your outgoing call will be barred.I have immediately call airtel executive from Durg & inform about the same & she told me (forget executive name) there is no problem in your number & address verification every thing is fine. Befre coming to Bangalore I have paid Advance payment of 400 rs to airtel(23-10-2009). I reach bangalore on 26 Oct.On 27 OCt My father has observed that he is not able to perform outgoing call from durg number (9685045644).My father can not talk with aritel customer care beucase he don’t know much functionaly of phone so I have connected that call from Bangalore to Durg then to customer care 121 (that goes to Indore office) I have told them abt condition but they told me you need to come down to Durg.I told ios it that much necessary to come from Bangalore to Durg 1400 km just for small thing that to customer which is already having 3 connection from last 3 year in his name.But they were very much reluctant to provide me facility & told we can not start outgoing call & if you want tou can cancel the connection That was very much surprising & embrassing for me. Then I have call custome care from my Bangalore number 9902332332 to 121 & ask from help as Bangalore customer care are very muvh helping in nature they told we can’nt fetch info abt your Durg Number & given me alternate number of customer care (STD Number09893012345) I have called them again & told about the same But another executive (Mr Bhandari) told me to come down to durg via flight for another verification I told them it is not possible to come down for just a small work.He strictly told me we wil not provide you outgoing facility in Durg phone & cancel your connection. I told him to cnnect his Manager he has connected to his manager Mr Lokesh Kaushik He is the fellow who told we can not solve this problem as oyu are in Bangalore I tld him I am very old customer of Airtel I Have corroprate connection froj airtel for 3 phone But that Mangare has not helping me continously tellimg me yuo need to come down to Bangalore.I told him to transfer this phone from my name to my father name for that thing also he is saying you need to come down to Durg

    I have some question to Airtel
    1)Is it a way to talk with customer & create unnecessary problem with those customer which is already having thre old connection with airtel
    2)Is it compulsary to come down to Durg from Bangalore for just verification that already been done (1400 km from Bangalore)
    3)Tranfer of phone can e done by just writting a letter & faxing them to airtel office that thing also oyur airtel manager is not able to perform
    4)why there is dual behaviour from Bangalore customer care & chhattisgarh customer care Bangalore center is very helping in nature But chhattigarh customer care is just avoiding the problem & not willing to solve the customer problem.
    I am very much disspointed My airtel home twon number is still not having outgoing facility even though i have paid Advance payment 400 at present it ihaving 600 rs Advance money in that phone account

    Please help me on this problem

    Customer Care Deptt. of Airtel is one of the worst Deptt. who won’t care about the customers. One can phone to Airtel, or write mail but it doesn’t make any difference to Airtel.
    As long as they get money, they don’t care.
    They go on deducting the amount without any rules and when we ask for anything, there is no reply.
    Its a shit organization and stern action must be taken against Airtel Officers . They have no qualified staff.
    Refer my Phone No. 9984127099. I am making teh complaint since 05/09/09 and talked many times , send e-mail , but I am sorry to say, taht tehre is no reply.

    I want my Refund for the unnecessary deductions made from my Pre paid phone.

    I have Airtel phone connection No. 09818132820. On 20.11.2009 I received a message from your message service no. 54321 mentioning thanks for downloading Raftar from Airtel and for this I have been charged Rs. 99.00.

    I don’t know what is Raftar and I don’t want to use this service. I think its solely mistake that i might have pressed some mobile key which resulted as me opting this service.
    I’ve tried hard to reach customer care associates to resolve this issue but could’nt manage to get response.

    Please get back to me with a solution to this issue, I don’t want to subscribe to this service. Please refund the undue charges , I will appreciate the same.

    To heared all the foolish and vulgarity from customer care, it’s better to quit the number and tell all your colleges and friend to quit and log a complaint in Media about mis behaviors of customer care (especially ladies), I don’t understand why there are coming to job, if they want to enjoy,the can do it offline,but doing nonsense in professional place are really not good.

    Recharge not credited to regular account but credited to some dedicate account of same no. Dear customer care I have recharged my phone 9901727538 (Karnataka No) on 20-12-2009 at with a top-up easy recharge of Rs 200 – from a vendor in PAtna as I am on roaming now. But I was shocked to see that only Rs -1 431645090 never connected.Both my incoming and outgoing has stopped now b cos I do not have any balance in my regular account. However on dialing 123 4# the balance is shown as Rs 194.50 in the dedicate account 4 and valid for only 30 days ie Jan 20th 2010. But I am not getting either Incoming or Outgoing. What is this Dedicate account 4 Why i am not able to get either Incoming or Outgoing Will my money go waste Can you transfer this balance from the dedicate account to the regular account. Kindly do the needful as the time of 30 days is running out.

    This is to be treated as complaint for my prepaid account bearing my phone number is 9008077857.That i am an advocate practising at high court of karnataka circuit bench at dharwad.I am receiving lot of service calls and messages which disturbs me lot in my profession. Therefore I am not interested to receive any more service calls or messages and DO NOT DISTURB ME AT ALL.
    Secondly, without my knowledge and without calling to anybody from phone the amount is deucting from my phone which is unlawfull gain to the concern,which is bad.in case of complaint there is no proper response.Therefore this attitude is to be droped.
    And lastly when I made an enquiry I goe the reference number quoted from the company is 1226441028 on 26-12-2009 .

    I have taken two prepaid Sim in the name of D.K.Agarwal on 28th Nov 2009 in Bangalore. I am facing lot of problem with these Nos. All the incoming caller persons were complain that when ever they are calling to these Nos they get a massage that `THIS IS NOT A VALLI ED No. ‘and after trying 3 to 4 times it gets through, I had made the complaint so many time to your costumer cair center Bangalore but all of them are having different stories and the problem remains the same all STD & ISD & even from the local calls. I had made a complaint recently from 98105685954 and they asked to wait up to 4th Jan 2010.

    This problem `THIS IS NOT A VALLI ED No’ is not in the hand set it is problem from your control room, we had tried if make our hand set switched off we get this massage 3-4 time or more and then it gives a prey recorded massage that phone is switched off please leave the massage.

    WILL YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHY YOU NEED SUCH A LONG TIME TO CLARIFY? I AM RECEIVING ANY INCOMING CALL FROM `ISD & STD’

    I request you to kindly Chang these Nos or refund the amount as technicians/Engineers are not able to rectify the problem you can go though the complaint given against the subject Nos

    Service like caller tunes , GPRS are getting activated with no info. to the customer.By the time you come to know the charges get debited in to the account.When the customer care is intimated they ask for a period of days to deactivste.This is exploitation of customers ,especially prepaid.This has happene to my 9890259616 & 9860534583.
    I am sure randomly this nonsense is carried out to fatch money.
    This issue never happens with BSNL, MTNL ,idea.
    Is Airtel so cheap with their customers.

While I have repeatedly thried to get this issue resolved, with me contacting the local office & customer care, and customer care having repeatedly called me to check, recheck, and re re check, etc. etc., my address, I still have not got a printed bill.

    While India post delivers letters to me without any issues, it’s surprising how a company touting themselves for efficiency fails to deliver one.

    I hope this company can do something about this, because now, I’m losing patience with the pathetic customer care.

    I have a secondary prepaid number, 9634417686.

    For this number I’ve activated the mobile office GPRS.

    It worked till I got my phone updated and now I have to re enter the settings manually since the phone does not configure them on its own.

    Earlier there was a gprs helpline where a technical person helped me through the process.

    This ime round, I’m trying to reach customer care. Guess what they do. After minutes of going through the bullshit promotional stuff being toted out to us, I finally get to a customer care person.

    The first couple of times I get hung up on. Then I get through to someonbe who’s clueless about what I need, but is willing to patch me through to his supervisor. This supervisor, who seems like a pinhead then hangs up on me.

    Wow, that’s sterling consumer service. For this number, atleast, I’ve decided to let the balance run out and then I’m going to switch to another provider. They may not be as big as Airtel, but I’m sure their service won’t be as pathetic.

And my connections were in Post paid connection till Dec 17th..and from this time it has been changed to Pre paid..But the status is not being activated..this is becuase I am not able to dial 123 from abroad…. So I need to get my numbers activated to pre paid… Because the courier charge from abroad to India is too much… What is the alternate source to set the language??.     I am very helpless and hope lees with the Airtel CS team. I have recharge with RC98 to avail 2 GB internet Pac on Saturday 30th Jan’2010. But till now I am unable to activate the same. I have contact with 121 team from the first hour but cud not get any positive response also talked to local Helpdesk put a mail to appellate.wb@airtel.in but no response. Two days already gone. My opportunity will expire on 30 days.
    So my advice to all please don’t go for this 2 GB pack. It is worthless…

    I am using Airtel for 4.5 years now. Last month I have been shown a usage of 330 rs for one day. I was shocked to death and called up the customer care immediately.

    They asked me not to bother and assured me that the bill would be proper. There was no effort from their part to check why the bill was wrongly amounted. I warned them that if they do not respond to complaint in 3 days I would get rid of the connection. It has been almost a month and still I there is no reply from them.

    If this is the response for a customer 4.5 years old, I wonder their service to a new customer. I end this note with a promise of discontinuing Airtel services at the earliest.

    i received a message stating that on the recharge of 340 i would receive a talktime of 340 and the full payment would be made 48 hrs after the recharge also same was stated at 121 but till today after about 7 days of my recharge despite repeatative complaints i could not get my balance back is this what a company should do with its customer of ten years i think that i will approach the consumer forum.

    I am extremely surprised and terribly upset to get your SMS stating, “You have been rerenewed for MUNNABHAI subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs. 5/-.’’

    I am neither interested in such jokes nor am I keen for Filmy Buzz. I would like to emphasise that without my consent no offer should be forced upon me. I would love to subscribe in offers of my interest / choice only.

    I would , therefore, strongly appeal to reverse all amounts deducted from my prepaid accounts for this service & other sevices, if any, which have been provided to me without my consent / approval
    and confirm the same per return; not letting me compel to initiate action otherwise.

    In this context, I would like to highlight that I have plenty of problems without Airtel connection – one such case is my SIM got disabled once and I had to pay to change the same.

    Looking forward to your action / confirmation.

    SIR,
    1. I have 2 Airtel Connection(9748964365, 9831456351) at home, KOLKATA, West Bengal Circle since Dec 2008
    2. I am not able to make any OUTGOING CALLS / INCOMING CALLS from airtel number once inside my house.
    3. I contacted the airtel customer care regarding this problem of outgoing calls. SEVERAL complaint was done by me us, they come back saying complaint is resolved but same problem continues.
    4. But it was not solved and without taking any confirmation from me they resolved my complaint as solved.
    5. I got 2 falls calls to inform me that the problem was solved, but still the problem is as it was.
    6. Even after my repeated reminders about my compliant they have taken least interst in this case and not solved this yet.
    7. This is causing a great inconveneine for me as whenever there is a call i have to rush out of my house, which is not the case with BSNL mobile.
    8. Whenever i call your call centre they ask me to change handset , switch off and switch on again. But pls inform them problem lies with their connectivity and not handet.
    9. So please kindly look into the matter and solve this problem and help me utilising my full rights.

    I have Airtel Postpaid connection from last 6 months. Since I have taken this connection,This is the worst service I ever received from any service company.

    I have called the customer care and with my surprise any without my gaven information .give him.But I was not that fortunate. and 1 airtel exe, called me wrongly talk to me,…….

    On the second month, I have received an Airtel Postpaid detailed bill of someone else. I could not believe my eyes. A well-established company like Airtel actually does not care about the privacy of their customers. They might have sent my customized postpaid bill to some other email address. And this is going on and on. This is the third month with Airtel postpaid connection and without any difference this month also I have received another customer’s postpaid bill. To pay my bill I have to log in to their website and check my detailed bill. That is the only option I have left out and I am doing the same for last three months. I am so frustrated now that it does not make any sense to call the customer service and get a new request number (I already have plenty of the… I have even spoken to the supervisors few times).

    Please let me know how to resolve the issue.

    I have a prepaid airtel connection and have been using this number for the past 2 years now. I had taken this connection from Airtel Distributor gallery at Andheri East, mahakali caves road. It was the month of march and i had given all the required documents at the time of taking this connection.

    After two years, i faced a problem with the sim; it stopped working 15 days back and i went to the Goregaon Airtel gallery for replacement of the sim. There i got a shock when i was told that the number which i have been using for two years is actually not on my name.
    I spoke on Hotline to some customer care executive and i found that the name and the address which is saved against my number is somebodyelse’ Yet i gave the last two dialled numbers to them and also gave him the month in which i had taken that connection and it justified that i have been using tis number. Then i was connected to the suervisor and Unlike this executive, she denied that the same last dialled number i gave to her is correct. Also, she said the connection was not taken in march but in the month of May. Ultimately, like i expected, they said no to me for the sim replacement.

    Here i dont understand why this all episode has happened and who actually has done this blunder? But definitely this is major shock to me as a customer and to tell you the truth, this is something which doesnt earn you anything as a Company but only does wrong to your name.

    My question is…..when I had given calls to your customer care executives so many times in these two years, why didnt they figure out this issue then? Why i was never told that this muber is not on my name when the executives spoke to me.

    Please let me know how to deal with this issue and what about my number now?

Then The TL has revert my amount but the same she spoke with me very angrly without any reponse.Then she disconnect my call.

    i called to the customer care service to the airtel on 07/03/2010 sunday at 02:20am for my queries buy the guy responding to me really disappoint with his rude behaviour. he argue with me n said is thid the time to call go n take sleep when i said its the duty of you to clear the queries of your customer he says you come n do the job. i said then why should co. pays you he said you are not my payer sur bt i am the loyal and old customer of your company i have 8 airtel connections 6 postpaid and 2 prepaid in my family earlier i was quite satisfied but this thing really disappoint me. i called from 9876792192(prepaid) mb. no. you can check his rude behave from your records for internal training at above time and date. and he also said you will see wht i will do with your this no. now you will cry i said ok and he deducted rs.30 from my balance in my pre paid no. when i asked about his name he suddenly disconnect the cal so its a request as ur old and loyal customer kindly take strict action against this and refund my balance otherwise this will make a negative impact on the goodwill of your such a prestigies co.

    clarification also and pay the bill n I was pay regular bill of my second no. (9650597432) so i was decided I’ll wait for any call from air tel then I’ll clear about my call detail and then I’ll pay all bill. But in February in last week somebody call my no. 9899880743. i was in my office his name is Mr.Sameer he was talk me very rudely and i was told him ’sir please don’t worry I’ll pay the all bill you just send my call detail on my mail id Then he was normal and he was send the bill with call detail on my mail id. and he was call me again he ask me about my problem i was told him ’sir I am not satisfy my call charges and roaming charges he was told me sir you can Settlement on your bill and he was suggest me if you want continue your no. then you have to pay Rs.1350/- or if you want full and final payment then you can pay Rs.1200/-. After that i was decided I’ll pay Rs.1350/- and continue the number. He was told me 1more thing he said ’sir your SIM is not working you have to purchase new SIM in Rs.25/- from any Air Tel shop. That time I was agreed with him. After that he was sent Some buddy on 24/02/10 for payment collection From my house i was payed by post dated HDFC cheque (date -27/02/10, amt-1350/-) but that day i don’t know about my a/c was blocked by bank for other any security reason then cheque was bounce and i was feel very embracing.

    After that 06/03/10 Mr. Sameer was call me by a lad line no.40662042 time-02:36pm he talking me again very rudely and he was abusing me and very clearly i was feeling very very bad he said to me very rudely again Mr….you have to pay cash payment write now……i said Mr.Sameer firstly please talk to me in behave. he was not listing me and he said if you are not pay the bill then I’ll raze your call detail and I’ll call your relatives and friends and I’ll ask them you are not able to pay the mobile bill of Rs.1350/-……..

    Then he was normal and i said Mr.Sameer Do one thing please send my some buddy on my office (south ext. part -1) and I’ll pay in cash Rs.1350/-. He said again Speak loudly and he said Sorry I Cant Send Any buddy for collection…u have to go to shop and pay all amount Rs.1800/- . i said ok I’ll pay at Air tel shop after my office…He said no Mr.Sharma you have to pay write now otherwise I’ll call on your relatives number and ask them… .And then he was cut it my call after few Minute My friend is call me then he said sum buddy call me from air tel and he is talking about you and he is very abusing…. after that i was call on his ladeline number – 40662042 and told him Mr.Sameer this is not fair you are call my friend number……he said I’ll do more calls from your call detail…….I said Mr.Sameer please send some buddy I’ll pay your all amount he said ok I’ll send some buddy from collection department on your office and pay your amount in cash of Rs.1350/- Recipet No.-1756334 and I’ll Send The new SIM tomorrow but that time i have Recorded This Talking In my Cell.
    Now I have Pay The Balance Amount Also Because Next Day he told me that you have to pay all balance amount also.. by Card recipt no-14-5880320.

    Now I have Attach The Voice Recording Please check the recording and do Something……..

    Dear Sir,

    I was advised by customer care to change a 349TKP plan however when i asked for details I was asked to sms to 222. By doing this I received a message from AX service on 13th January 2010 saying that my plan is changed to 349TKP.

    I don’t know how customer care can give me a wrong advice. However on the same day 13th January 2010 i made two complains to costumer care rep. Mahalaxmi vide. comp. no. F621212251 telling them to keep me in the 149 plan and not to change to 349TKP.

    At this point I want to highlight the fact that these complain were made on 13th January 2010 well before 26th January 2010 from where the billing cycle starts. I was assured that my plan would remain at 149 and if there was any billing problem I should mention my complain registration no. and approach costumer care. However when I received the bill I was shocked to see that my rate plan for the add on number 9900217462 was changed to 349TKP for the billing cycle 26th January to 26th February 2010.

    I am sorry to say that from the past 20days i have been given various assurances from various costume care rep (Nyma, Pradeep, Anil etc.) that the bill would be rectified but no action has been taken. I have not paid the bill for this month for which i am not responsible.

    Kindly do the needful at the earliest under intimation to me.
