I am holding the Airtel prepaid No.9177744714. One month back some young voice telephoned when I am in a meeting and asked my personnel details for verification purpose and threatened me if I dont answer his questions he will disconnect my telephone services. I cautioned that fellow to mind his tongue and learn how to talk.
Today since afternoon I am not able to telephone my wife who is travelling in the train instead a computerised voice asking me to give my personal details for verification. I answered her and switched No.2 for English and waited and listned music for ten minutes and disconnected. This procedure repeated several times and I am not able to call my wife upto 1600 Hrs on today and I annoied and went to the nearest Airtel Office and asked them to cancell my Airtel Connection and came to know that they wanted address verification and asked me to submit the same now it self. How cannot carry my documentary proof everyday with me and asked them to give the detailed phone numbers and address of their HEAD / CEO of Vizag or AP but they are not able to provide the same. I seriously annoined in this matter and advised them to send some forms for verification to the addresses of customers instead of asking by telephone with bad manners.
Now I advise the Management of Airtel that you may please train your staff with good manners while talking over phone. Now I request you to kindly send me a form by e-mail to fillup my details for further continuation of Airtel or concellation of the same.

This is to let you know that for last three months I have been facing Dropping connection issues,Slow speed and most of the times landline is also not working at most of the times .It has happened twice that cable has been changed outside the house but the issue still persist,Now I would like to have a clarification that is there a fault in the cable or the product that is installed is faulty ,if this is the case I believe Airtel is not living upto their standards of high quality service ,Now I would like to cancell the service or else I would like to have compensation of the problem I have going thru for last 3 months
2)My second concern is that I took a postpaid mobile connection in 2002-2003 and got that converted to prepaid ,Now after 7yrs I have been asked to submit the documents I submitted the documents with the photograph but still I recieved the message that my documents have not been verified .So please throw some light to this issue as it is affecting major customers using the service ,its very inconvinient to submit the documents with a photograph attached .
3)My third concern is that for last 2 months there is no credit card facility in the paschim vihar centre and we cannot aspect this kind of customer service from such a big company .As always getting the information that systems are updating no wonder with such a big name systems are updating for last 2 months.

We are using Airtel Fancy Number for our Resort Business, in hyderabad. This airtel customer care people doesnt bother anything, just disconnected my number since yesterday. When I recieved this message the phone was not with me because I locked the phone in my drawyer which I opened in the night by the time I was chrged by rs 30 and subsequently I recieved another messabe for which I was charged with Rs 15. where as I have deactivated all the promotional services from airtel even thougjh I get this sort of messagws and I am charged for it and when I called the costumer service executive he bluntly said that you have activated this services by calling to some airtel number and disconnected the call and I was charged 50 paise the enquiry for the which dint solved my problem and moreover the executive was not ready to listen to me so to explain my complaint I managed to catch executive again after arepeadet try for 0ne hour and when executive was trying to getreid and not to give sollution with great difficulty after speaking to the executive for 23.47 minutes he understud the complaint he debited Rs 45 for which I have to spend around Rs 6.50 and this is the first time I amnage to get the refund because I had time to explain him in the past this charges were put on my head.
Sir Bhatrai is no1 in telecom company in india and if the company use this sort tricks to extract money from the coustomers then it is a question mark before the costumers wether it is good to continue the services anyhow I know disconecting the services wont help me in any way but atleast the message should reach to the concerened authority.

I got an Airtel Post Paid Sim Card on 03.02.2011..and i was told that it will start working by 06.02.2011..that means today…it is now around midnight..and i am still waiting to get this sim card activated..I was not given the Mobile no..so i only have a Sim card no. with me..when i called the Airtel Customer Care on 04.02.2011(Post Midnight) to get some help abt this Sim Card..they didn’t even take the sim card no..or any other details about the no..they just told that they can’t help..I mean what kind of Customer Service was that.

I have called many in the morning of 11th feb 2011 and complaint against my balance deduction from my main balance as i am using netpack during this period , i have informed the executive about the my problem as he is not able to handle the call he has disconnected the call. Three times i have made the call but all the three times i got my call disconnected from customer care end. If you want you can check this no. 991063581 last call history of this no. that i have made the 3 call and all were disconnected.
I want to complaint that please take action against these executives so that next time this will not happened to other customer. whenever customer call agent used to disconnect his call because agent can’t handle the call, As you only give 3 call to make in 198 if agent disconnect all the call after you make it block, customer is not able to call again. please take the action against agent and refund my balance.

I hereby brought forward a complaint against the customer care of airtel. My name is K.JOTHI and my mobile no is 9940305854. Iam using this number for past one year. On 22nd Jan 2011 at 8:50 Hrs I recharged for Rs.100 through mcheck but the talk value is not credited in my account. so I made a call to complaint on the same day at 9:30 Hrs. They said the complaint is registered and it will be solved within three days but it wasnot solved within the stipulated period. Again I make a call through customer care executive, he said “server is down and they told to make a call after 4 hours”. This happened regularly. Particularly on 01.02.2011 I made a call again to complaint but they repeated the same and I got angered and I shouted on them. They told that they will transfer the call to senior officer but they simply cut the links ,it happens three times on the same day. Afterwards I didnot make a call for some days. on one fine day of second week of FEB I saw the recharge message . Then only I realized that while making recharge through mcheck , instead of my number I entered 9940308584, then I checked with the above number and I find it is not in activation.
In the meanwhile, when I again make recharge with mcheck the message shows “sorry we are unable to process your request at this moment try again later” when I again try the same message repeats.
on 14.02.11 I try to recharge on shop with Echarge the message reflects “your recharge is not successfull try again later ” it happened two times on the same day. Again on 19.02.2011 I repeatedly try to catch the complaint cell 198 from 9.50 hrs to 10 hrs from my above number but the call cuts after recorded voice. I doubtfully tried from another mobile it was attended by complaint cell and they again register the complaint (ref no:CAN RC 20219447399).
your network very much distrurbed me for past one month. please restore my problem as earliest and you advice to your irresponsible customer executives because it will spoil our relationship in future. kindly get me the reasonable reply regarding my recharge.

Dear Nodal Officer, Appellate Officer of Airtel,
I was using broadband connection with no as 0124-4300651. On 19th, November 2010 I requested for termination of services (Request Ref # can be provided on request) as I planned to move from Gurgaon and I moved from this location on 20th Nov 2010 itself. The people told that they have logged the request and it will take 24-72 hour and after that the billing will be closed. I contacted them after I got a bill for the period 08/11/2010 to 07/12/2010 and they did not cancel it and I don’t know why and I had to pay the bill for whole month because I don’t wanna waste my time and I don’t have patience to deal with your stupid and non-professional customer service.
But now on 11th Jan, 2011, I received another bill for the period 08/12/2010 to 07/01/2011 and now what should I do? Whom should I contact?
I again contacted them and posted my query on consumercourt website and I received a call from 9871 999 470, Mr. Prashant from Airtel customer service promising me that the issue of bills and cancellation will be resolved and arrange a refund for the extra money I paid. Nothing happened and after 15 -20 days I again contacted and asked him the status, he said Sir its not yet resolved, I am working on it and give me a call back after 24 hours. No call as usual and I again contacted after a week by that time I had another bill sent to me and now I said if you don’t resolve this issue I will take legal action. Upon this he started saying go ahead and take the legal actions.
Next day I got a call from another executive Mr. Kunal, 9717 894312 and he did the same thing, promised that both the issues will be resolved and he took 7 days before 1st Feb, 2011 and even though I called no of times in these days, nothing was resolved and now he stopped picking up my phone and he switched off his phone. Now I am completely fucked off and these people have been telling me don’t write to Nodal and all, we will fix it.
If you guys think that this wrong then fire these agents who are false promising and defaming Airtel and resolve my issues. Otherwise advise me to take legal actions, if I take legal actions, believe me or not I will definitely suit a case for disturbing my daily routine work as well as mentally harassing me and I am not able to concentrate my work, in return I will be filing a case to compensate me for all those problems that I had to go through and still going through.

But I Haven’t renewed any such services.. the same happend 2weeks before.. I asked for explanation on that time but nobody responded me in a clear fashion.. Now I made a call to the Customer care hotline “121″ and “198″.. but there is no option for speaking with the customer care executive.. If there is no option for conversing with the executives.. then what the HELL in need of those Hotline no’s.. Its Such a fucking service you are providing to the customers…

I had also the bad experience about Airtel Mobile Service. I requested to CCE to stop all promotional messages at my number and he activated hello tune. I got call reply to my complaint that I made request to activate hello tune and he was not let me talk to senior. Then took Nodal officer contact no. and made a call. He talked politely, apologies and assured that I will not face such a problem in future. He also said that the Rs. 45 which was deducted from my account will credit and it will instantly credited. Really it worked and he done it.
So I mean to say, there is way for solution, and we should not keep silent thinking why to lose my piece of mind for such small amount, but adopt proper channel .

I think the above complaints agre genune. some unskilled operators/ marketing executives are spoiling the name of the leading telcom airtel. Due to this customers are compaling for mobile no portability. (The above mensioned operators/ and marketing executives have some tie up for commession with other telcoms). Higher authorites should give suitable punishment to this type of employees after getting customer complaints.

i have a prepaid and a postpaid mobile no .of Airtel. i have been complaining since one year about the poor network service in my area. the calls get de-activated and the Airtel customer service call cannot be made.
there has been no factual answer from either the customer call centre or by dialling 121.
My options are [1] i either de- activate the numbers or use portability.
my second query is about a pre-paid number. I have been told that once i stop ”charging” the pre-paid after a certain period the connection gets de-activated on its own. My contention is a customer should be allowed to get it de-activated in written as later this can be mis-used. For safety i should be allowed to get this number ”completely cut off” from my name to avoid any hassles in the future.

Whenever I contact airtel customer care for any problem, I get different answers for the same question that is being asked and the problem is never being solved. This is the situation now-a-days. My recent problem was I decided to change my network from Docomo to Airtel, I submitted the necessary documents and hence was informed that the Docomo network would be disabled and the new one would be activated within a week, but the previous network was disabled, but Airtel was not activated, it is now more than 20 days meanwhile I had visited the Chrompet customer care office once in 3-4 days (i.e. more than six times), every time 24 hours is demanded for the work to get completed, still the problem has not been rectified. Now my impression is that docomo is much better than airtel. Finally my thought is that customer care centers as well as customer care call service in airtel is totally waste.

I am a new customer of Airtel, before that i was using Tata indicom. I porting my number into airtel and date of porting is 9 march. I am working in IBM so i have taken (149 rental)corporate plan. My billing cycle is 26 to 25 of every month. I got a call from airtel after porting my number. They told me that your first bill will generate from 9th march2011 to 25 march2011, so we will wave your monthly rental according to days as my first bill is for 17 days but they charge me 148.6 rs as a whole month rental. which should have not been applied and other thing is that they charge me 80 rs for value added services. I need to know the details what kind of services i have taken however i have already taken the 99 rs unlimited GPRS plan. I want the whole detail of my uses.

meny times we ustomer care but problem was not rectified. again Rs. 125 recharged on 01/04/11 at 9pm. next morning total amount is ZERO. again Rs.125 recharged on 02/04/11 morning , same day evening amount is zero.
Regulerly i’m calling customer care but calls are didn’t connecting executive. Finally i loss about Rs.400 within 2days without making single call.
