I was very happy with the services of HUTCH when I first took it in 2005. Till March 2007 I did not face any problem. After the same I shifted my connection to AIRTEL. I was then in Chennai. The reason for changing the service provider was discontinuing of One India Plan without informing the customers.
However I was transferred to Kolkata in October 2007. I was impressed with the postpaid corporate plans offered to us (working in an international bank) and I jumped back to Vodafone (9830838400).
I had two connections and I was using the same without any hassles. Suddenly from Jan-Feb 2009 both of my bills started shooting up. Where my calls to both of my numbers were free (as per the plan), however the same was removed without any intimation and normal charges started levying.
Speaking to customer care officers was like banging your head on the wall or just talking with a robot. Not a single attempt to understand the issue and willingness to help the valued customer. There are two issues——-skill issue and will issue.
If it is skill issue then more training is required for these guys. But if is the second one…. Then GOD saves Vodafone.
Finally I was forced to close both my Postpaid connections and paid the balances confirmed to me by the CSE, then and there. I was confirmed that I would get my next month bill with some mere amount (for the plan charges) and I need to pay the same accordingly. I was also asked not to use the connections any more.
I submitted the required documents and collected my migrated Prepaid connections (same numbers) and stopped using the post paid ones from 30 October 2009. After that I never received any bill, neither any confirmation from Vodafone regarding any pending dues till date.
Surprisingly from 5 December 2009 onwards, both of my Prepaid connections were stopped, where I had power recharged just two days before and had some balance also. As a banker I receive lot of calls from my customers.
Mr. Sridhar Rao(Head, Customer Service), please imagine if your connection is deactivated and nobody is there to help you ! How do you feel?
I am fed up of these troubles. If you are proud of holding a large customer base and do not require old customers, then be it. Remember customers only can bring money for your business. One dissatisfied customer like me, can attract lot of your customer base and effect your business…..I hope you will agree to this fact.

i have been a loyal customer of vodafone for three years, my mobile no is 9999632987. I was having 998 advance rental plan on my post paid connection. i was called and asked if i want to renew my connection i said yes but on 23 of Nov 09 one day before the renewal i changed my plan to 299 hello plan. Then i recieved a bill for Rs 1311/- The bill raised by Vodafone is wrong illegal and unsustainable in eyes of law and is a deficiency in service on part of vodafone.I called vodafone several times and i visited the vodafone store on 13th Dec after paying Rs 350/ out of the illegal bill of Rs 1311/- i was given a false assurance and complaint no 8669298. I started recieving messages on my phone when ever i tried to dial a no that connection will be interupted if bill is not paid. I cant be billed for the services i have not availed and for the services i do not want. I request Vodafone to rectify this problem. That inspite of my numerous complaints and visits to vodafone , i am still recieving the bill along with the demand of payment for 998 advance rental plan. This is contrary to the vodafone sologan of HAPPY TO HELP, I hope that the senior management at Vodafone will help me and resolve my problem.

I had prepaid number which I had to convert to post paid so that I can get my mobile reimbursement. Now some tariff has been added to my bill for which I am required to pay Rs. 599 every month (scheme-699 min STD free). This has been added to my november as well as december bill. When enquiry was made regarding the complaint, I got the response that I had activated the scheme on 26th oct 2009 which I had not activated. Now when I want to change my plan to prepaid, I am being told that it is not possible.We earn money by working hard and because of such acts of the company we are forced to pay extra. Now I am going to send a formal mail to higher authorities of the company and if this is not resolved withing time then I will lodge complaint with consumer forum and other related authorities. I will make sure that I get my money back.
Please let me know the procedure of changing plan from post paid to prepaid.

Customer service? What customer service? I was charged Rs.300 for international call that should not have exceeded Rs. 50. Tried to call customer care but gave up after the 6th attempt. Just today I had a problem with the Vodafone Wrold Calling Card. All I can get is recorded messages giving me a myriad of options…minus one where you can speak to a human being. Really helpful. “Happy to Help”. More like, “Happy to give you the run-around, advertise every money-making scheme we can think of, and avoid being of any assistance”.

Please help us as early as possible. My wife is using the Vodafone sevice for the last 2 year. Last 8 to 10 month she is using bonus card to get the benefit of 60 paise calling by rechrging Rs.39/- but onence the bonus card validiy expired it start deducting 1 rupee perday automatically, which we dont want. (this situation happens many times ).We sent masg. to vodafone to disconnect the service but still it gose on deductiong the Rupee 1/ day.
Otherwise i would like to shift the service of VOdafone to other service like IDEA,BSNL etc.

In the morning my balance was Rs 23.88,I sent few messages to my friends and make few calls as well but that was on vodaphone nos.So my balance should not decrease but in the night when i checked my balance it showed Rs 10.88..How come they can charge me for nothing where i have a a free sms topup and voda to voda free calls…And when i called their customer service they replied me that we don’t hv any information in our system and call us back after 24 hrs.Again when i called them again i got the same answer from them..WHAT A FUCK…..I am gonna sue them now…

Today 28 Feb’2010,
In the morning My balance was Rs51 and some paisa. I sent few Text messages and I made few calls as well but that was on Vodaphone nos.I had a recharge of 199 and 35 to make vodaphone to vodaphone calls free and for free sms. So my balance should not be deducted. Around 1:30 or 2:00pm I noticed that my balance is Rs42.934. So, I called Cust Care but didn’t go through, I tried several time but was facing same issue then, I called Cust.Care No from my friends phone and when I talk to the agent he told me that i have sent 4 sms to STD nos. and that’s y they deduct my balance 1.50/sms and for more information you need to call us back as I don’t have your full info and that will be updated in another 4hrs or so. But actually I sent only 2 STD SMS not 4,and according to them they should deduct only Rs 3 instead of Rs 9.43. When I asked the agent that y I can’t make calls from my no. to Cust. care no. then he told me that your account was blocked to make toll free no. 111 but I am activating it and it will be alright in 4hrs. and when after 4 hrs I try to make call to Cust. care no. this time my call go through and when I asked the agent that this was the case and let me know why you deduct the Rs 9.43 instead of deducting only Rs3.00 he said that I can’t access your records because your account is not updated and I can see your record till 19th Feb 201 when you recharge your account with Rs 50.00 then How come the previous agent told me that you have sent 4 STD Sms and that why they deduct the amount and this time the agent disconnect the call.
Now when I try to call them again I noticed that again they have blocked my account to call Cust. Care No. I don’t know what kind of services they are offering to their customers and how this company is earning. I have decided to take appropriate actions against the company now if they’ll not give me the credit back in my account.

Very Frustrated and Fraud Company:-VODAPHONE
Today 28 Feb’2010,
In the morning My balance was Rs51 and some paisa. I sent few Text messages and I made few calls as well but that was on Vodaphone nos.I had a recharge of 199 and 35 to make vodaphone to vodaphone calls free and for free sms. So my balance should not be deducted. Around 1:30 or 2:00pm I noticed that my balance is Rs42.934. So, I called Cust Care but didn’t go through, I tried several time but was facing same issue then, I called Cust.Care No from my friends phone and when I talk to the agent he told me that i have sent 4 sms to STD nos. and that’s y they deduct my balance 1.50/sms and for more information you need to call us back as I don’t have your full info and that will be updated in another 4hrs or so. But actually I sent only 2 STD SMS not 4,and according to them they should deduct only Rs 3 instead of Rs 9.43. When I asked the agent that y I can’t make calls from my no. to Cust. care no. then he told me that your account was blocked to make toll free no. 111 but I am activating it and it will be alright in 4hrs. and when after 4 hrs I try to make call to Cust. care no. this time my call go through and when I asked the agent that this was the case and let me know why you deduct the Rs 9.43 instead of deducting only Rs3.00 he said that I can’t access your records because your account is not updated and I can see your record till 19th Feb 201 when you recharge your account with Rs 50.00 then How come the previous agent told me that you have sent 4 STD Sms and that why they deduct the amount and this time the agent disconnect the call.
Now when I try to call them again I noticed that again they have blocked my account to call Cust. Care No. I don’t know what kind of services they are offering to their customers and how this company is earning. I have decided to take appropriate actions against the company now if they’ll not give me the credit back in my account.

After making calls when I get the balance message , along with the balance message it has shown ” recharge with 202 and get 404 Local & STD talktime for 30 days”.
After receiveing this message I had recharged my moblie in few minutes for Rs.202/- , but I got credit for only Re.1.22(One Rupee Twenty Two Paise Only).

I am using vadafone number 9986674425 which is in the name of Sunil.
One month back customer care called me and told about the 52 pack and forced me to activate it.
After one month 52 pack got deactivated. When I called CC they informed me to go to a outlet and recharge for 52. It’s nonsense. Why I have to go to outlet and recharge every month when I am maintaining good balance. Why it can’t be deducted from my account?
I called CC and told them to deduct from my account. Ever after two day it was not done. I was fed up with the customer care and told them to cancel the request. Then I activated 49 pack. Money got deducted.
After one day again 52 got deducted and that plan was activated. Even after repeated reminders Customer care dint respond properly and told me to wait for 2 days for the refund of 52 rupees. They even told me that 49 pack will be activated once 52 is deactivated it dint happen.
Now I don’t have any pack and I m loosing 1 rupees for sms.
I am using vadafone from long time but recently customer care response is pathetic. I m trying connect to representative from yesterday and it is being redirected to main menu every time when I select 9.

I have a 2 vodafone numbers. One of then is 9884357701, i use it only for Official(Chennai) only. I have not used this number from November 2009 as i was out of station . The sim was in my locker. At the time i left i had More than rs 125 in it. As its a life long validity plan i came back and used it to my horror it say my balance is rs -3.5. When i called the customer care they Told me i activated Caller Tune in the month of December 2009 by attending a call. For god sake the Sim was not even in a mobile and my locker was locked for more than 6 months.They are not ready to take a complaint or to double check. Even the Customer Care rep was Rude. I was very happy with the service they provided until then. But now i am only waiting for the Number portability service to be activated by the Government . I will be Glad to Switch over to a better Service provider, I am stuck because i dont want to lose my number.

I am using vodafone services from last 4-5 years and i have been paying more than 3 times of average ARPU all this while. When i needed another connection i preferred the same service provider over others, however there were plenty of choices available.
In the recent past i have experienced numerous problems wrt service, customer care, network etc and every time i was turing a blind eye towards them, but today’s experience has been one of the worst in last so many years and is forcing me to bring this to your notice.
My recent bill for 9873440937 has charges levied for Blackberry Prosumer Lite which i have never used and in fact when i realized months ago that such service is there in my device which i do not need, i immediately informed vodafone to deactivate the same, but i was informed by an executive that it is free and you need not to bother, even if you are using it, as this will be deactivated in couple of months time automatically.
Now when i asked to reverse these charges the executive denies completely with non-supportive behaviour. I condemn such behaviour and want to deactive the service immediately and i am not going to make any payment till the time it gets sorted out.
And guess what this is what was waiting for me.

I was asked to go to the Vodafone store in Mumbai when I called up and talked to Mr. Selva from Vodafone Mumbai Customer Care yesterday night. I was informed that the credit check failed for my application. As I am in Pune and cannot go to Mumbai now, I am sending the documents hard copies along my friend to any nearest Vodafone store in Mumbai. Please be informed of the same.

My postpaid number is still inactive despite your assurances. I was asked to furnish the bank statement – AFTER having submitted the 3 months payslips, which I did on 28th.
Today, when I called up your customer care, I was told to visit the Fort Vodafone store again! The reason I am dealing this via emails/telephone is because I am out of station and cannot visit Mumbai anytime soon.
Following is the list of documents I have submitted to Vodafone CustomerCare till now:
- Scan of the prepaid SIM of 9820489304
- Death certificate of Mr. K Abbas Shaikh, my father and original onwer of this number for almost 9 years.
- 3 months payslips pdf soft copy.
- Bank statement pdf soft copy for Month of April 10.
Xeroxes submitted by me at Vodafone Store on 8th May to Mr. Sunny Panchal
- PAN card copy
- Employee Photo ID
- Application signed for conversion of prepaid to postpaid
- Photographs (it was taken at Vodafone Store itself)
- Signed on Plan offer for Plan 399.
- Ration Card specifying my address.
- A verification was done at the address of Ration card by a Vodafone agent.
Now, I am being told by Vodafone customer care executive today, to visit Vodafone Fort store to sort out any issue.
I cannot visit the Vodafone store as I am not in Mumbai. Please let me know how I should proceed. If this conversion cannot be done, please let me know how I can get the refund of the amount paid to Vodafone on 8th May through Mr. Sunny Panchal.

Vodafone is one of the third class service that i ever seen. They were sending msgs to show very good offers for their customers, and if anybody recharges by looking that offer, he/she will definately get disappointed, because they never provide that offer. Only making fool their customers. I dont understand still why they send these type of “bloody blunder” msgs their customers if they can not provide the servise…?

My sim card was damaged since it was an old card. I had requested a replacement sim card on their customer care who promised that it would be delivered within 24 hours. Well, guess what, I never received it even after a week and after placing 4 such requests. Finally I visited their Vodafone store in Vasant Vihar, they were so not Happy to help me. I somehow managed a sim from the store, and they assured that the sim would be activated in 4 hours and as usual it was a false assurance. I called up their customer services, god knows how many time, and each time I would receive the same pathetic assurance of 4 hours to sim activation. Now it has been close to 48 hours.
Vodafone is the most pathetic telecom service provider in the country. The customer care is the most unprofessional ones that I have ever come across in India, including the ones that man the counters at the Vodafone stores. They are so pathetic and a bunch of losers. Vodafone should be barred from providing any kind of telecom services in India for their unprofessional services. They have been very successful in maintaining their reputation for unprofessional services. They loot the consumers in the name of services, half the time you end up with poor connectivity and a spate of dropped calls for which the consumers are unlawfully charged. Their one liner catch line is “Happy to Help You”. Instead they should change it to “Happy to Torture You”

I am using Vodofone from past 6+years. I noticed that vodofone issending falls bills from recent months. I am getting biills for ISD calls which I am not aware of and I am charged for all messages even though I am in “free message plan”.
It is really shame on the system vodofone using to generate bill or the way they are cheating their customer. Hope they look into this seriously and take actionaccordingly.
I am really wondering theway Vodofoneis cheating its customer in this competative market. There n number of service provider who provides best service in reasonable cost.

there is some unwanted service activated on my mobile which keeps on deducting 3 rs every day unnecessary.
I called three times..
1st time a women gave me wrong code to MSG on 144, which do not worked.
2nd time a man gave me another wrong code to message on 144 which also not worked.
3rd time, i asked the person to deactivate the service himself. He said it will be deactivated in 24 hrs. I received a message also saying that the service will be deactivated. This is third day from then and the service is still not deactivated and , still 3rs are getting deducted from my balance every day.
Now when i am trying to call to customer care using number 111, it is again and again directing me to unwanted options and even after selecting 119, its is returning to main menu and not directing to any customer care executive to talk to. I tried yesterday evening and today morning also.
This is clearly a trick to keep on deducting money from the balance.
Please act on this ASAP
i have a vodafone post paid connection. no is 9999599563, with a credit limit of 5000/- which i have been using for how many years even i don’t remember.
the reason i got a post paid is in case i am out of delhi i need not run into low balance problem or in case i make a part payment the rest can be paid next month.
even for a left over balance of 100 or 300 rupees they keep calling me day and night… even though i informed them that i am out of delhi and my office employee made more than 3/4 of the payment, rest i’ll make in the next bill, but they won’t listen.
then why the hell i am being a credit of 5000/- and why the hell should i use a post paid???
when ever i make an advance payment for the post paid they never call me, but for a small sum they have been calling me night and day on roaming…
who will pay for that???
I have a complain regarding the tariff plan as in i was given a plan of “zero rental” it worked for 1 month and suddenly the plan got changed. the customer care services are really very bad. they dont even know about the tariff plans properly,, and for this reason i had to visit the gallerly for more than 5 times
It becomes very difficult for a working person to visit the gallery again an again so it is a request please deactivate my postpaid connection from 1st october 2010 and my previous amount should be given as credit for the september.

It said to press 1 for tamil i did there was no response from the mobile but suddenly they have detected rupees 30(rupees thirty) from my balance.my balance was rupees 91.100 before reduction but now i have only rupees 61.100. they didn’t mention about any activation charges. when i complaint about it to the customer care they said its not possible to refund my amount.sir kindly go through my complaint and refund my rupees 30 in my

Now where the charges have come from and why? I am fully disappointed with VODAFONE services. As I am using the BB services globally from last four years and I never receive such bill for BIS services and the same concern I have visited voda fone store 5 times with multiple mail requests but so for no action have taken.
How Vodafone can ignore in this way rather taking customers complaint, why we don’t get fulfillment to our request from Vodafone customer support
